Spend you money on something else. We carry these bags on - never subjecting them to the abuse of checked luggage. The stitching that holds the zipper to the vinyl is comming unstitched. I never overpack as I don't want wrinkles - yet this has occured after only using the luggage three times.

I have not yet traveled with this piece, so this is not a fair review. But I wanted to note that the so called "hard shell" is really not that hard. It is very thin plastic and you can push it in with one finger - carry on only .I had planned on using this to support my laptop case and wheeling it through the airport, so I would not have to lug the laptop. Not sure if this will actually support an average weight laptop case without caving.It does have good quality wheels though...

Well, for starters, I ordered this suitcase for a trip and it came to me in the wrong color, but I was leaving and didn't have time to reorder, so I was not pleased about that- then, I discovered as I was already traveling that the zipper was prone to sticking when it was being closed, and the zipper actually started separating from working it so hard- maybe mine was defective, but I assumed I couldn't return it, as I had used it on my trip. Would not rec- you get what you pay for- and sometimes, you don't even get that much!

Save your money. DO NOT buy this luggage!!! We bought 3 sets of this luggage for a trip. After the first leg of our trip, ALL pieces: 3 large. 1 medium and 2 smalls gave way on the back part of the luggage. We did not overpack and fortunately had luggage straps to hold the luggage together, otherwise we would have had our clothes scattered all over. We had to find superglue and duct tape the zipper and the flimsy back piece of the luggage in an attempt to hold the luggage together for the rest of the trip. Can't believe people are writing positive reviews as this happened to every luggage piece and size we purchased.
