I have not used to garment bag but have looked it over. It is a nice looking piece with nice outside pockets but it is very thin. My previous garment bag was thicker and I think I was looking for the same type of thickness. It does not appear that you could fit more than a 2-3 night stay in this bag.
I totally love this garment bag! It is roomy and I am a packaholic who always takes too many clothes when I travel, but this bag held up like a trooper! I stuffed it to the brim and it still closed. WHEW! I was worried for a minute. It has a lot of pockets and places to put all sorts of things. The rolling aspect is divine. I am sooooo glad I purchased it and I will buy luggage from this company again. I put shoes and clothes in the bag and it still closed. It was a great price and it is cool looking and sturdy. So go ahead and purchase the bag! You know you want to, so go ahead! You won't be sorry.

I'm 6'3 and I was concerend about the height of the handle before I purchased it. I'm happy that the garment bag has tall enough a handle for me. Lots of pockets for socks and ties.
