  As an advocate of privacy, especially in airports, I was in need of such products like the ones provided. I take my guitar with me everywhere I fly and needed locks that could be opened by TSA without them being damaged and also keep my guitar safe. These locks have proved to be exactly what I needed. Small, but secure, and the other pieces provided additional security to my other luggage as well.

  • How accurate was the sizing? Absolute accuracy.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Every piece is crafted securely and able to be opened with no problem by TSA.
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No defects to be found or noted.

  I purchased 2 sets (8 pcs.) of these locks. Each and every lock has an issue with the key fitting the lock. One has to play around with each one for quite awhile in order for each key to fit and unlock each lock. Maybe with more use they will loosen up and work better. At this point I would say they are overpriced considering their quality. I would probably not purchase this type of lock again.

  I followed every step of the instruction provided on how to set-up the lock of the red strap, with NO LUCK! It's also very difficult to detach. The black locking mechanism of the red strap is made of hard plastic, apparently very brittle that it only survived 2 trips, now broken and useless. What a disappointment!

  I had to purchase these locks due the last set was plastic and flimsy. Finding the combonation was easy when held to the ear to listen to the clicks. I'm hoping these will be sturdy and last more than one trip. Yes, the colours are bright. But these do not come in a package as a whole, but individual packages put together. If these work, then they have served their purpose and worth the money. If not....well then the only good thing is the labels for the bags.

  I will be using these when I travel next month. The locks work, the plastic was flimsy on one lock and got a crack. No directions on the strap or how it is used for a new traveler. I was under the assumption that a security key would be included, but was not. I had to order a new set that has the key in case you need to get into the locks. Be careful with the setting of the combinations because it can cause trouble. I wonder about the true safety of these locks since I messed up on combo and was able to listen to the clicks on the lock to find the wrong combo that was put on one and was able to open it that way. Seems more like a lock you would use for a child's backpack or bag. Not really solid for rough handling in my opinion. But lets hope, right?
