  We purchased this set for an overseas trip and found that it worked well enough for our needs. I don't know where it happened, but an outer pocket got sliced without actually cutting throught the lining of the pocket, so nothing was lost. Maybe there's something at international airports that catches on suitcases; I don't know; it held up to the handling, but just barely. Some of the pieces were a bit tippy as well, but all in all it got us through one local and three international airports. For the price it was a good purchase.

  very compact...comes in one box so it can be stored the same way. one fits inside the other. I bought the grey and now i wish I bought the red. extremely happy for the price

  I purchased this set for an upcoming flight because I needed additional luggage. I loaded my belongings up and after my two hour flight, MY HANDLE WAS DANGLING FROM THE LUGGAGE LIKE A LOOSE TOOTH!! I couldn't even use the handle to move my luggage off the carousel! And none of my luggage would stay standing AT ALL! I suspect it had something to do with the luggage being expandable... but if it's expandable, maybe that should be taken into account when making the luggage!! That was SOO frustrating, if i wanted to stop for just a second my luggage would just topple over! However, the worst part about the set is the ruined handle... it was on the largest one, and now I can't even use it anymore AFTER ONE TRIP!!! What a waste. The fact that the retractable handle on the other one hardly ever worked barely bothered me compared to them all falling over and the big one breaking on MY FIRST TRIP WITH IT.

  Overall initial look at it for the price I recieved, it looks great. Again, it is a christmas gift for my boyfriend so he hasn't had a chance to use the suitcases yet so I am not sure how good quality they are for sure yet but from looking at them they look nice. Only problem like i mentioend above, was with the shipping.

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Its a christmas gift so they haven't opened it yet nor had a chance to use it so I am unsure but it looked good.
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? The only problem was in the packaging box, there was one of the suitcase wheels sticking out thru the box which in turn got scratched when the product was shipped.

  Ordered this for my son and family for a cruise; have not used it yet. The luggage looks durable and the extra packing pieces are very convenient. Seems to be a very good value. Will not know for sure till cruise and travel is over.
