I bought this for a 3 day Miami - London trip for a wedding. I needed a wardrobe bag to carry my suit for the wedding, which I did not want to wear on the long flight. I generally dislike normal garment bags, because i feel they are not very practical in most cases for me. I happened upon this item, and thought I'd give it a try. The price was about $xxx, but after cashing in my "O" bucks, it was about $42 shipped. It is very well constructed. Don't expect samsonite silhouette build quality, but it is easily 1/3 the price, but not 1/3 the quality. Out of the box, it had a fairly strong "new" smell. I left it open for a few days and it disappeared. It is a great carry-on piece with a lot of functionality. The handle works effortlessly, and it piggybacks a hefty briefcase or backpack on top quite nicely. The wheels seem sturdy. I walked a lot with it during the 3 day trip, on all sorts of surfaces, from smooth to quite rough (cobblestone), and it was great. Time will tell as to durability, but for the money, a great buy. My suit? I'm a 46 XL, and a 2 piece suit and dress shirt folded nicely into the included zippered garment pouch. Very few wrinkles. Highly recommend this item.

I purchased this suitcase for frequent business travel and have now used the bag for half a dozen trips via commerical air. I needed a hard case back so that clothing and toiletries were not damaged in transit. The bag is much lighter than I expected, and easy to manuever. I like the clothing straps inside, which help keep my personal items in place. The telescopic handle is easy to use, and the bag rolls well. I also like that the four travel wheels allow the back to stand or roll while upright. However, I have some concern that the wheels may not past long, since they are built on the outside of the suitcase; I have seen designs that seem more durable. Overall, it is a good back for the money, but does not give the sturdy, indestructable feel you get with a Samsonite bag. That being said, it was only 1/3rd the cost of a Samsonite, which makes it worth the price.

During the first trip zipper inside ripped away from the fabric. Second trip shell of the suitcase cracked. I just switched from Samsonite I think I will go back.....

I had my doubts about this much luggage for that small of price. Turns out I was right. After I received this luggage it was clear that the "hard" side luggage should really be mushy side luggage. The material was extremely light and flexible. Adding to this unwanted flexibility is the fact that the two halves of the suitcase shell are held to gether by a mere cloth zipper and not a heavy duty zipper at that. The zipper will not survive the abuse that airlines give luggage. As stated, the hard side is not really hard at all. On the second trip, a gigantic hole was crushed in on one corner of the bag. The piece was entirely missing and you could see inside the suitcase. Stay away, spend a little more money and get Samsonite or some well know luggage brand.

I purchased this set with the intention of flying from Los Angeles to New York and then to South Africa and back. First, let me say that these bags are small and they are have narrower bodies than my samsonite luggage. The interior is very simple. There's only one simply easy-to-tear mesh pocket. I'm somewhat disappointed at the quality. The frames of the suitcases were bent out of place when I picked them up at the luggage claim area. One bag had a big whole on the top right hand corner. Needless to say, my stuff felt out. This set is definitely not designed for international travel. If you want a durable set, do not buy this.

All suitcases break sooner or later - depending on who handles them at the airport.. The few Samsonites I had all broke during their first trip so I refuse to invest in expensive suitcases since they will be mis-handles anyways.. This set is great for the price!

We bought 2 of these right before they sold out. I am strapping them to my bike and they are a perfect size for this. Be aware that the case has a "textured finish", not smooth as the picture would indicated. this is better as it cuts down on the scuff marks. We had a samsonite with a gloss finish that scuffed when you looked at it hard.

I took this luggage set with me on 3 trips within 90 days of purchase. On the biggest suitcase, the handle on the bottom of the suitcase on the first trip. By the third trip, the main handle on the suitcase will not fully extend. To get it to work, I have to yank on it very hard to extend. I had some Samsonite luggage for 10 years and this luggage set was it's replacement. I wish I kept the Samsonite. that I had for 10 years.

I bought this carry on as a replacement to my the one I have had for years (Samsonite). I wanted an upright carry on that had "spinners" to allow me to maneuver swiftly through the airport. Although this suitcase is close to the same size as my existing luggage, it does not seem to hold as many clothes. I have enough room for about 3 days of clothing for this bag versus a full week with my other. The quality of the bag is decent but I doubt it will stand the test of time. I was very interested in having a bag with spinners but these spinners are too close to the ground (from bag to floor) and seem to collect debris. I had nothing but trouble trying to "spin" this item through the airport as it froze up on most hard surfaces and with carpet, I ended up dragging it. I gave this bag to my husband who travels 1-2 times per year as it is not for the frequent business traveler.

Despite the reviews that the bag is either made with leather too thin, chinsy hardware or whatever else...don't believe them. Their expectations on a leather bag are unrealistically high. This bag is very classy and full of character, unlike many leather bags that make you look like a drab college professor with a bowtie and tweed suit. The only bag that I could ever possibly compare it to is the Samsonite portfolio bag that I don't even think is sold on the internet anymore. Typically, this bag is for men and it makes any man who adorns it look like a gentleman of high class and style. It even comes with a company tag that is actually made out of leather! The zippers are heavy duty and the leather used on it is thick, but flexible and high quality. Case in point, buy this bag!

Purchased this 21 inch upright garment bag for a 5 day business trip. I was able to pack two suits, plus 5 or six dress shirts in the garment bag portion. I was then able to fit 6+ polo shirts, 1 pair of pants, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of shoes, socks, underwear, etc.. for 5 days. I was very impressed with how this little bag was able to expand. I purchased a larger / higher end garment bag from **** "just in case" this little bag couldn't hold everything, but to my surprise this bag exceeded expectations. The **** bag has already been returned. I could buy two of these for the price of one Samsonite. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Ordered two of these in orange. The color is very nice. Haven't used the suitcases yet (leaving next week) but from what I can see, I think they will make the trip just fine (international travel). I have always purchased these types of bags because I don't believe in spending a fortune on samsonites when they are just as likely to get damaged when tossed around by people who could care less for your things.

I gifted the set to my husband as a wedding present so he could use it during our honeymoon...a 16-day tour through Europe (5 countries). The larger suitcase was the one that was being tossed around by the airlines and thrown in and out of the tour bus. By the end of the trip you could see the wear and tear: the stitching of the zipper was loosening up, the shell of the suitcases were scratched, and the handle was off of it┐s base. We compared his set to my Samsonite cloth set and you could tell that the quality was much better on my suitcases. If Samsonite has a hard suitcase set I┐d go that route. Overall the suitcases were stylish and the best feature is definitely the wheels as they maneuvered easily through narrow hallways and through airports. The set should be used on short trips but I wouldn┐t use it for extended international travelling.

Pretty color but cheap looking....the lining trim inside is unfinished and the fabric on the back of the biggest case is not taunt. Carry on and in the trunk of a car should be okay but no way I'd check them thru the airlines. These will be okay for lite travel but having been used to Samsonite, there is no comparison. Consider the price per piece .....you might do better buying individual pieces of better quality.

"Overall its a good case, for my needs it could have more pockets and more file space. Good product for the money." These were my husbands comments on this Copa aluminum briefcase, I gave it to him for Father's day gift. I was shipped quickly and in good shape. It was replacing a Samsonite steel briefcase that was 15 years old and cost about $150 at that time.

This briefcase worked well for 11 months but then the leather tore (from normal wear) then the strap broke. I looked back and the warranty is only 90 days. Not very good long term quality so I would not purchase again. Comparable products from samsonite have 3+ year warranties.

Upon arrival these suitcases had a distinct odor of mothballs. The smell did finally go away but it took about two weeks of being left open to air out. The cases roll effortlessly and I love the spinning feature. In their first use, the largest of the cases was cracked in its first use (BOS-LAX). I don't doubt that it was the airlines fault, but these are not indestructible by any means. Next time I'll spend the extra money and buy Samsonite.

LOVE the wheels. It's like rolling nothing (and I pack a lot!). And, the luggage moves easily no matter which way you want to go. LOVE IT! However, I feel like the handle might snap/break if you rely on it to PUSH vs. pull. Someone was pushing the luggage and said how easy it was to move, so I tried it and insisted they stop. I don't recommend pushing the luggage - pull it. It also feels like the luggage will give under pressure/crushing, and I could envision my stuff strewn all over the airport. However, it made it to its destination just fine - and back, of course. There were a couple of scratches :( , but otherwise fine. Now, I was REALLY excited while checking in to the hotel, an Australian couple said they had the exact same luggage and LOVED it. They said they've had it for a while and it has traveled numerous times all over the world and is still good as new. Well, I felt like I made the right choice. My basic search started with a hardcase and spinner wheels. I found the Traveler's Choice Toronto 3-piece Hardside Expandable Spinner Luggage Set on another website, but Overstock had it for the best price. I felt more confident purchasing through Overstock - that my purchase was from a reputable source and guaranteed. The only negatives are as follows. 1) The pacakging was torn up. It was so bad, I didn't think the luggage made it, but it was just fine. Not even a scratch. 2) The luggage smelled AWFUL. Disgusting. Like rubber that was stored in some horrible chemical plant. I put a number of items inside in an attempt to absorb the smell - dryer sheets, baking soda, vinegar, Febreeze. Nothing worked. I emailed Traveler's Choice and they said to leave the luggage opened outside in direct sunlight for 2 days. Well, I live in Chicago and it was a rainy week. Based on the weather forecast, I wouldn't see any sun before my trip. However, one day, there was only a 10% chance of rain, so I left it out. Yeah, 10%. It rained. I thought I'd come home a soup pot, but it was already dried up. I took the luggage in the house and the smell was already gone. Hmmm. Luckily, the forecaster was wrong and the next day was beautiful, so I left the pieces out again all day and the smell was absolutely gone. It didn't appear again after being zippered up. It wasn't on my clothes. It was gone. So, make sure you have 1-2 days of sun to 'cook' the smell out of your luggage before using. Oh, it is lightweight and has double handles placed just so that came in handy when picking up the luggage from the airport baggage carriage. I didn't strain my back like I ususally do trying to whip off my luggage. I didn't need to use it, but the luggage is also expandable. I tested it, and it worked great. I just need to watch that 50 lb. airline restriction.... So, if you are considering this, I wouldn't hestitate any longer. Go for it. Now, I might change my mind after a couple more trips, but thus far, it's a great purchase. And, it was reasonable enough that should it turn to garbage, it will be easily replaced. That wasn't the case with my Samsonite. I purchased an expensive model and it started falling apart after ~ 5 trips. Handles came off. The rotating (inset) lock was broken. The key locks (not zippered luggage) broke, so I couldn't close my suitcase. And it's great that Samsonite warranties it - you just have to have all your paperwork and go through a gazillion hoops. No thanks. I'll just be sure to purchase non-Samsonite luggage from now on that is more reasonably priced.

Very nice looking luggage. Looks more expensive than I paid. Yes, it's a 2 piece luggage set, but it only comes with one lock (the smaller luggage doesn't come with the "lock"). It's hardside, but it's not like Samsonite hard suitcase type. And it's just a little bit strange to see hardside luggage with zippered openings. But I am encouraged by others' positive reviews and hopeful that they will be able to handle our upcoming European trip. But consider the price, I think I got a very good deal on both of them, and they are nice looking luggage set indeed.

Bought these cases (there were three of them) and flew one flight to JFK. Got my luggage and found a crease down the side of the larger case. Also found that where the wheel is attached to this case this was also broken. Flew on to my next international destination and went on to collect my cases and got the larger case back with only 3 wheels attached!Absolute rubbish case.Very cheap. Pay cheap, buy twice!!! Shame.I then bought a Samsonite case and had many trips without a problem. Hindsight is 20/20.
