I gave this product four stars instead of five because it has yet to be banged around Europe for 5 months. The leather is soft but seems sturdy and it seems well made. A plus in my view is that is doesn't say PASSPORT on the cover. Good price for a nice piece.

Travel often? This is a great way to protect your passport. The leather is so supple, it really is like butter. Great quality. I bought this for a gift and can't wait to give it to the person. The holder does NOT have the word "passport" embossed on it --which frankly just says, 'steal me!' The tan is rather brown, but it's a warm, rich, toffee/caramel colored brown. It's a great buy, and for the price, a fantastic buy. I highly recommend this. It does not come with a box but it can be given in a gift bag. Highly recommend it.

Bummer! I ordered 2 passport covers for gifts - one "carnation pink" shown in the picture as a vibrant shade of pink and the other "tan" shown as a pale buff in the picture. Imagine my disappointment when I received them and the carnation was actually a really pale pink and the tan was dark brown. Not what the picture showed and not at all what I had in mind. Nor are they embossed with PASSPORT across the front. HMMMM. Leather feels fine and they are nice in quality for the price, but I chose the colors specifically for the individual recipients. Buyer beware - or at least be NOT SO PICKY!

It is not anything super great - I don't think I would normally pay this price for this and it is not anything that is super great for the price...but it's okay. I got the pink and it's a pretty color. It is a little less pink than my picture shows.

Very happy with purchase. Excellent quality. Use my passport for travel and for identication reasons. This jacket is a good protector. Very attractive to have. The leather is well made.
