It Fits!
Overall I am really happy and it is exactly what I wanted. It does seem that the buckle doesn't want to snap when the bag is full but with it being leather I'm sure it will stretch slightly with repeated use to correct.
- How accurate was the sizing? Good and I was worried as my purpose for purchasing was for a carry on so I don't have to check a bag and when flying in Europe the limitations require a smaller bag than most US carriers. Still have to test it in Europe but it fit smoothly into the "check bag size here" and the overhead bin on my recent flight.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Really good craftsman ship, although I have not used it a lot to really test wear and tear but I would purchase again for myself or family/friends.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Not that I have noticed.

poor workmanship
I purchased this handsome leather bag for my daughter. Upon opening the box, it was found to have a broken footbase that was only made of a thin plastic and could have easily broke when using the bag. I ordered another one and when she used it for her first flight , the stitching on the handle came apart and were unable to carry the bag. It appeared there was only one line of stitching and that was not very good, since the handle fell apart on first use. I would not purchase a Royal Palm bag again, even though it has a nice look on-line.
