I usually pack two outfits per day and two for each night. One in case of warm weather one for cool. Two shoes for each and a choice of jackets /sweaters. It's awful really. I end up bring a TON of possessions for a four day stay and use just about everything. How did the pioneers get by with so little? This VERY fine rolling duffle can really take my demands, all while looking smart, feeling smooth, and being light weight (compared to my old one). Overstock did a wonderful job of getting it right to me and at a great price. I am very happy to have this luggage. It will take many years of my stuffing it to the gills.

This bag doesn't weight much and has wheels - great situation! Will be perfect for international trips where every ounce means a high premium if you have too much. It doesn't work so well if you pack it partially full because the contents flop around. There is a board on the bottom where the wheels are that makes it not fit into the overhead bin on flights in the USA.

I bought this bag 2 years ago & love it. I've used it all around the world... But with airlines tightening their carry-on restrictions, just beware. In Europe, it will not be accepted as carry-on luggage as they tend towards smaller bags - especially on low-cost airlines like Ryan Air. And when I used it a couple of weeks ago to go to Hawaii from L.A. on a U.S. airline, they tried to get me to check it. I refused & it fit - but was warned that they would be getting stricter about sizes. It's just a tad to big to fit in the measuring stands for carry-on bags which is a shame... Because I travel so much, I will now have to go for something a bit smaller. But it's still great for check-in luggage.... Holds tons & is lightweight. P.S. - I also have the 31" which I love for 3 week trips. Too large for 10 days (for me)...

I bought 2 of these rolling duffle bags for my son's as Christmas gifts. They were excited to receive them and anxious to use them for our vacation. They appear roomy and are light enough to carry or roll, which ever way you choose.

This bag was larger than I thought it would be. The quality was pretty good and it is a very cute bag and my daughter loved it. I would recommend this. Being a duffle bag it is nice as it lets you roll or carry it and it expands pretty well.

The excellent thing about this luggage is that it focuses on being lightweight and also strong.

Super light weight, yet large enough to hold a lot of clothes! Wheels great too.

I bought this duffel to use on various international trips. I like to have the drop bottom duffel because it provides a sturdier lower compartment, and the upper compartment can be expanded a great deal. The interior is substantial and easy to use. The outer pockets at the ends of the bag are large enough to hold hiking boots or a couple of pairs of sandals each. The side pocket is good for those smaller items I always need with me (corkscrew, duct tape, poncho). The lining on the bottom of the bag unzips, so I can hide paperwork and some cash. I realize this would not foil an experienced thief, but it makes me feel better. It rolls quite well, although I have not yet used it at an airport or on the street. For some reason, there is a shoulder strap which seems superfluous because of the wheels and rigid structure, The zipper pulls are not easily locked together because of their configuration, but with a bit of effort, I got some of the compartments locked. I am looking forward to using this nice looking bag.

My main criteria when looking at rolling bags was the weight. The moment I took this out of the box, I knew it was heavier than the 4.5 lbs advertised. I got out my travel scale and it registered at 5.4, almost a whole pound heavier. I know nine-tenths of a pound isn't much, and this is still very lightweight compared to many, but I was disappointed. Now, I have to say this bag looks like it is going to hold a lot; it is bigger and roomier than I expected. Also, the padded handle grip will make it easier to carry when necessary. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase; just wish it was the 4lbs, 8oz, as advertised.

Bought this for my husband to replace his well worn duffel. The size is the largest allowable for checked luggage, w/o an extra charge. It is lightweight and collapsable. However, because of those features, it doesn't stay open to pack...it collapses in on itself until full enough to fill out, unlike his former duffel. Overall, a good value for the price and objective.

I like the expandable feature of this bag very much! It also do not take-up much storage room; this bag collaspes easily when nothing is paked in it. This is very helpful because we need the extra space the bag makes available. YEA!!! The outside of the bag is attractive; it appears durable ... for sure.

I bought this because I needed a soft-sided bag that would flatten for storage on a boat trip. I just returned from the 2 week trip that featured a number of airline screenings and numerous transfers between various various vehicles and crafts, and it worked great. The bag itself is light weight but very sturdy. It's commodious and I didn't need to open the gusset. It doesn't stand up well on end, but that's characteristic of all soft-sided duffels.I used packing cubes to keep things from sliding down to the bottom and that worked well. The only thing that wasn't great was that the velcro closure that holds that 2 handles together tended not to stay closed. For the price, this was a great deal.

I travel 30 weeks out of the year and almost live out of bags. Since traveling today has changed so much I needed a bag that has almost no weight to it and that keeps expanding. This A.Saks bag (this is my 4 product from the A.Saks On The Go Line) is so rugged and I use it all the time. The wheels roll easily, and it has an extra zipper on top to expand it when I need more room. It also folds flat which is great for me when I am home because I live in New York City and I need all the room I can get. This Rolling Duffle packs like a suitcase and has a piggy back feature on the front so I can attach my laptop briefcase to the front. Also, the handle system retracts into a zipper so the airline people who throw bags around cannot throw it from the handle and break it off.GREAT BAG!!!!

I have used this carry-on duffle bag for a few trips now and it seems to hold up well. It is roomy and I haven't had any trouble getting it into overhead bins. The wheels and handle are high quality. I only wish there were some outside pockets to keep smaller items separate from the rest of my things.

may not work for international travel because of the height requirements

I loved my first Rockland Giraffe Rolling Duffle so much that when it started wearing too much after years of carry-on airport travel for work and fun I just ordered a second. This bag fits length-wise in most standard overhead bins and because it's a duffle, is perfect for overnight trips when you only need a few things but "expandable" (i.e., not rigid so you can fit more) for a long weekend or more too. Even though it's cheap, the handle and wheels on my last bag lasted well over 30 airport trips and still work though the wear & tear on the straps and bottom (when standing upright) led me to upgrade to a new one. Only downside is that it's made with toxic chemicals (probably why it's so cheap and comes with a warning to expecting mothers under California law) so you need plenty of time (at least a few weeks) to air out before using or your clothes will definitely smell.

Bought this bag for an upcoming trip. Haven't packed our bags yet so can't speak to how this will hold up in travels but the bag appears sturdy, rolls very nicely, and when expanded comes up to a good height to be able to easily pull the bag on wheels w/out having to hunch over. However, I'm only 5'-2" so I'm a lot closer to the ground. Material is thin, but seems sturdy. Very spacious, large bag. Adjustable to multiple interior sizes, so provides a lot of flexibility. Just what I was looking for.

Love this carry-on! The bottom wanted to fold in a bit but I just stacked my folded clothing and added it all at once and it filled out beautiffuly and held its shape. I could really get a ton of stuff in the bag even without unzipping the extra zipper to add a couple more inches. I would reccomend this bag and other A Saks bags without hesitatio.

I was looking for a very light weight bag for a 6 week trip to the outback of Australia and to Papua New Guinea. We were going to have very limited weight allowances on several flights. This bag was perfect. It held up through exactly 17 take offs and landing, from 6 pax planes to 747s. It was checked numerous times and looked like new when we got home. It also allowed for expansion when we needed to add to it with souvenirs, unneeded jackets, etc. Could not have been happier....and we did not end up with any over weight charges thanks to the light weight material of this bag.
