Had this backpack for about 4 weeks and the zipper pulls apart and will not stay zipped. I would not recommend this pack as it is not durable.

My kids backpacks always have to be replaced in Spring, none are durable enough to make it through an entire year. I was very pleased to find these backpacks available in April. They are just the right size, seem durable and well put together. The fabric color and quality is very nice, the extending handle for rolling and the wheels work smoothly. I gave a so so rating for durability because I don't know how these will hold up over time, but will say that some backpacks fall apart or break within weeks, and these still look and work like new after 3-4 weeks of use.

I like that this case has a laptop section, but the inside section of fabric starts to pull away from the zipper with normal use. I've never gotten one of these to last more than about 4 months. I use it to pull my stuff M-F about 2 miles a day. I wish it was more durable.

I brought this backpack for my 9 y/o son. The backpack was very sturdy, and was able to store a lot of his books. When he turned 10, we put away the backpack as he want something w/o wheels. The new back pack only lasted 4 months before the strap broke, so now he goes back to using his Rolling Backpack. It may not look as 'cool' as a strap backpack, but it is a lot more durable and cause less backpain. Would recommend this.

I am in trying to get a replacement through the manufacturer - Traveler's Choice which seems like it's going to be a project. According to their website they state that they will not refund defective products. I expected my daughter's backpack to last the year let alone longer than 4 months. I read the reviews but since they seemed to be more good than bad I took my chance. Well big mistake because I had the same problem a few others had - bottom support broke and it will not stand up at all. It also flips when she is trying to wheel it. This is quite frustrating to me since I should not have to replace a backpack within 4 months. I definitely do not recommend.

The worst! Be warned and walk away now! The whole handle fell apart after two months. I purchased 4 Calpak rolling backpacks, 2 of the 4 were defective and this one broke. I waiting for the 4th to break. If I could I would give it ZERO stars.

I bought this rolling backpack for my 4-year old to use for preschool. The pink plaid is sweet but no-key. Lots of room and easy for her to control. Fits her lunchbox, a change of clothes and a laptop sized device...with room for notebook and library books.

My backpack was delivered within 3 or 4 days of purchase. The backpack was everything I was hoping for. I am currently a nursing student who was in desperate need for a good, sturdy rolling backpack to carry all of my textbooks. The side laptop compartment has been handy. I don't bring my laptop to class, but I'll use the compartment to store a binder or a textbook when I need to. Overall, my back is thankful for the purchase. One note: the beige color turned out to be a darker khaki color on the design which is fine because the darker color doesn't get soiled as easily. Great purchase.

I purchased the Olympia rolling backpack for my 10 1/2 year old daughter (whom is VERY picky). I must have shopped at 10 different stores w/her and purchased and returned 3 different backpacks. She seemed to find something wrong with all of the backpacks we saw. I did agree with her on most of her complaints. The color was to "boyish", the wheels not sturdy enough, the handle was too long, the material was too flimsy...etc. The price in my opinion was at the top of the list! So, when we received her Olympia rolling backpack, we both knew we had gotten a GREAT deal. The material is of great quality, the 4 wheels are comparable to rollerblading wheels (with bearings), the color and style are unique (at her school, the kids seem to all have similar styles, colors, etc), and the inside of the backpack is very spacious. And the price was perfect! We are both very satisfied with our purchase! Thanks, Overstock.com!!!! :)

This backpack is absolutely fantastic! My ten year goes to a Catholic school and has quite a bit of homework each night. We wanted to get her a rolling backpack because it was hard for her to carry the 4-5 textbooks, on top of the notebooks and folders. Not only can she fit 4-5 books, but also her gym bag, lunch box and clarinet. It's very roomy and sturdy - doesn't tip over like others. Highly recommend.

I bought three of these packs for my son and two other children (friends). There have been some minor issues the first week of use. Between the three backpacks ordered...zipper tassel came off, but could be fixed easily...screw came undone on handle and had to find one to replace. However after the first week of problems these have been holding up well for 3 weeks. Only time will tell if this was a good buy, but so far I am pleased and would purchase again. It is difficult to find rolling backpacks that are resonably priced so I give them 4 stars.

I'm a professional who regularly uses the transit system, and wanted a rolling backpack to carry laptop, small lunch, and work files from home-transit-office-transit-home. This one has performed admirably over the last 5 months, and doesn't look too bad, either. My only issue has been that a small rock can occasionally lodge in one of the wheels and make it drag rather than roll. Thus 4 stars instead of 5. A larger wheel opening would fix this. I've probably rolled the bag over approximately 40 cumulative miles by now, with no signs deterioration.

I needed a new backpack after my messenger bag messed up my shoulder. It was recommended to me to start using a rolling backpack, considering of all the textbooks and materials I tend to lug around on a daily basis. Being 5'8", the handle on this backpack is perfect (in fact, it's too big! I have to keep it a click or two lower when I pull it out for it to be comfortable when I'm walking around). My laptop fits perfectly while still in its sleeve, as well as all of my school supplies. Just the other day I was carrying 4 textbooks, a binder, a couple of notebooks, my personal items (of which are maaany), and my laptop, and I still managed to fit a carry-out box filled with food- and still had wiggle room! I was a bit scared due to the price, but it was a very good investment! It's certainly made things easier for me on campus.

My middle school child uses this backpack all day ,every day at school. It carries a binder, 4 books, school supplies and a water bottle. The handle length is excellent for her 5' height. It rolls smoothly, and doesn't flip over. Because the wheels sit higher than usual, there have not been any tears at the bottom corners. It is well used and abused and still holding up. I will definately purchase this product again, but as it is, I expect it will last well into next fall.

Bought two of these (one in red for my son and pink plaid for my daughter) My 6 year old and 4 year old loved them. I could put snacks for the plane, "surprises" crayons, paper, books, etc. easy to roll around, handle adjusts. I won't lock in the shorter position, but it didn't seem to bother them if it ended up long. They both loved being able to have their stuff with them and go through the airport, it wasn't heavy like a back back (we just rolled them) and so easy to roll. You can use it as a back pack, and it has a great cover flap so that the wheels (which would naturally get dirty from rolling) are protected from your clothing touching them if you use it as a back pack - avoiding getting your shirt dirty. But they are so great as rollers, and so much lighter than what my standard backpack felt like on my back - I am now getting one for myself too. The back packs stay upright well (so we used them to store the books and art supplies while at grandma's to save on getting them spread all over the house. The packs also have a handle right on top, when you just want to shift the pack a bit. Fit perfectly under the airplane seat in front of us (which is what you want so you can get items out ("mommy I want a snack, mommy, i want my crayons and coloring book, mommy I want my teddy bear..."). Only one large pocket and one smaller, which I thought would be a negative, but in the end I could find things more quickly than I could in my big, multi-pocket backpack. Very Happy with this purchase - and such a great price!!

My 4th grader has been very pleased with this backpack. She bought it with her own money and has no complaints. It is holding up well after 4 weeks.

I have had this pak for 4 wks of nursing school and, as the title states, so far so good! I have no complaints! I load it up with plenty of BIG books on a daily basis and it has held up to 'em!

one wheel popped off during the first week of use. Poorly made item, cannot even hold a normal load of fifth grade books, a 4 inch tear developed in the front bag area. This is definitely not durable.

My kid started using this bag starting this August and in the month of November, the telescopic handle broke and came out and backpack became useless. So the bag didn't even last for 4 months. I will prefer to buy locally from store but not brand any more.

Telescope handle broken with 4 months and warranty of Calpak is a joke. We need to ship the product with return shipment and pay *****as service charge. With this money I would buy another back. I would never buy any traveler's choice product.
