I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this backpack. It has plenty of storage and little pockets. It also comes with a small coin pouch. It rolls nicely and feels sturdy. I have ordered my kids' rolling backpacks from overstock.com for the past 3 years and have not been disappointed.

I carry all my items in this backpack. My purse, lunch, books and other items are placed in there because I have a bad back and needed something to carry all of those items. I'm hard on backpacks so I find myself having to buy one every year because I have a 3 hour commute to work every day. This backpack goes everywhere I go. I love these backpacks.

I have had this rolling backpack for about 3 weeks. I use it every day! I put LOTS of books and papers in it. So far it has performed beautifully! It is light, sturdy and well worth the money. I would highly recommend this bag!

My kids backpacks always have to be replaced in Spring, none are durable enough to make it through an entire year. I was very pleased to find these backpacks available in April. They are just the right size, seem durable and well put together. The fabric color and quality is very nice, the extending handle for rolling and the wheels work smoothly. I gave a so so rating for durability because I don't know how these will hold up over time, but will say that some backpacks fall apart or break within weeks, and these still look and work like new after 3-4 weeks of use.

Well, this backpack is awesome IF you don't use it for a student with heavy textbooks. To me this kind of defeats the purpose of a rolling backpack. We love the color choices. We haven't had any problems with zippers or wheels....yet The problem is that the weight of 3 to 5 textbooks made the bottom buckle and the bag no longer stands up on it's own. This doesn't entirely prevent the bag from being useful as it still rolls fine. It gets scuffed up more now, however because it falls over on the ground when he lets go of the handle. Unfortunately, this weak bottom isn't covered by the replacement plan I paid for. This bag is more of a take some clothes to grandma's house for a visit type of bag. It's not strong enough for student usage. Too bad because it's a great bag otherwise.I would recommend this bag ONLY if you don't use it for a student who brings home heavy books.

I bought this backpack for my daughter, her previous rolling backpack lasted 3 years. This backpack lasted less than 3 weeks and the handle that allows you to roll the backpack broke. The zippers are also cheap, they do not zip smoothly. I am very disappointed in this purchase.

I bought this backpack for my daughter in October. It lasted only 3 months and was very poorly made. However, I kept it because it was pink, and my daughter loves pink. If you purchase it, make sure to get the warranty. I never purchase the warranty because my daughters taste changes from year to year. However, her backpacks usually last a whole school year. She's a very girly girl and is never rough on anything. This product just wasn't worth the money. I gave it an average rating because she did get to use it for 3 months.

I purchased this rolling backpack for my son at the beginning of the 2012 school year. The backpack did not make it until the end of the school year. The bottom plastic broke and then the backpack would tip forward. It had a 3 year warranty but now I have to pay almost as much as it cost to get it repaired or replaced. "There will be certain requirements, such as the original receipt, warranty tag along with a fee to cover (backpack, shopping trolley, tote, duffle: ***, rolling backpack & duffle: ***, Luggage: ***) the service charge. The product must be returned to California Pak with shipping pre-paid in order to be repaired or replaced. "

This backpack has many compartments, good size to fit in a three ring binder and 2-3 text books. However, the material is not very sturdy for a rolling backpack. The inside lining tears within one month after we purchased. The water bottle holder on the side of the backpack tears after couple months. Not recommended.

I can fit 3 large text books and 3 binders. it is not too heavy to pick it up by the top handle to carry. The backpack straps are a little akward because they are zipped up in the back, but overall it rolls well and i like the shape of the handle.

We have been very please with this backpack so far. It is for my 4th grade son who can be hard on a backpack. We've only had it for about 3 weeks, but it is holding up well. It is large and will hold quite a few books. The wheels look sturdy. The only potential problem is that the clip for attaching the shoulder straps drags the ground when using it as a rolling backpack. I can't figure out how to correct this. Overall, we are happy with this backpack.

This looked like a good-sized, sturdy rolling backpack for my 9-year old granddaughter and it really seemed to be a good buy. After less than 3 months of use, however, the telescoping handle no longer works. I had hoped it would last at least a semester.

This rolling backpack is the perfect size for my 6 year old daughter. We thought about getting two, but it would have been too big for my 3 year old. She loves it and we'll be taking it through the airport and on vacation this week. Will change my rating if I see a problem develop.

I purchased this rolling backpack for my 8 year old son and within 2 months the bottom corners were torn. Within 3 months the inside linings tore off completely. The only positive is that the handle remained intact. Would not recommend for an active child.

My son has had this for only a couple weeks and the handle is already falling apart. He needed a big backpack he could role because he goes to a school where they have huge binders for each subject. I'm disappointed that it did not last long at all :-(

This product looked decent when it arrived. Upon use, within 4 days, one of the straps completely disconnected from the bottom of the bag. My son then continued to use the other strap. He began to use it for the rolling bag, and within a week of his using it this way, the extension handle just pulled out and came all the way out and is now broken too. The seams are all ripping and this bag, after three weeks of school use I now have to buy another. I am going to try to return this because it is just terrible.

My backpack was delivered within 3 or 4 days of purchase. The backpack was everything I was hoping for. I am currently a nursing student who was in desperate need for a good, sturdy rolling backpack to carry all of my textbooks. The side laptop compartment has been handy. I don't bring my laptop to class, but I'll use the compartment to store a binder or a textbook when I need to. Overall, my back is thankful for the purchase. One note: the beige color turned out to be a darker khaki color on the design which is fine because the darker color doesn't get soiled as easily. Great purchase.

I bought this backpack while I was entering the 7th grade. I was very excited to get a brand new rolling backpack. When I first got my Calpak I filled it with all my new school supplies, wheeled it around the house, and then put it in my closet. It sat in there for about 3 weeks before I took it out again. I was going to show my neighbor all of my school supplies when I noticed that the zipper was broken. I tried to fix it and I made things even worse. Then I noticed that the inside of the biggest pocket got all scratched up. I have only had this backpack for about a month and already there have been two errors. I would not recommend it!

I bought this rolling backpack because my regular backpack with my huge Anatomy text book and flute were killing my back, and I was avoiding any walking around campus because my back was aching! I love all the pockets in this backpack.... 3 main pockets, small, medium, and large... the handle is really easy to pull out and retract... there's a place for wallet items and a clip for keys, side pockets that fit my huge 32 oz Sigg water bottle and/or my umbrella or another drink.... the zippers seem strong, and overall it seems to be a really good quality backpack. I've been using it for about a month so far and I'm loving it. I got it in red. :)
