Very poor quality, emblams came off after first flight. Would not recommend this item. I would rather pay more and get better quality
Main Point: If you are planning to take you luggage on a plain, check your air co updated rules for the size and wt of check in and carryon luggage (airlines tend to change their rules X2 per year). The largest suitcase exceeds the size for check in luggage set by Continental airlines (fines $100). Only the smallest case meets size for the carryon, even if expanded, though inner size of this case in very small. The one above the smallest one does not officially meet carryon size limits, but I have seen many people taking cases of that size on board. Perhaps airlines do not always reinforce their regulations. Suitcases look attractive for their price. I purchased red, which with its ROCKLAND stripe in the middle was easy to see at the baggage claim. One case that we checked in came back dirty and I was not able to remove the dirt completely from those handsome looking radar shaped protruding lines on the front package. The front side fabric for the checked in case was left with a minor rip in its middle and this all after the very first, no connection flight. My major disappointment was the fact that the largest suitcase cannot be checked in. The rest is generally expected for a cloth covered cases and overall luggage is handsome and showy, for its price.
We got this set and i am very happy with the quality and design. I took a suggestion and let it air out for several days before using it so it would smell as strong as it did when we got it. I added a personal luggage tag and TSA combo lock and off we go! We liked it so much my wife got the same set in the green, same stuff, different color. Hal
