My husband and I used this new luggage to take on our vacation by airline. The bags held up great but the handles are made of plastic that is just to thin. They all show signs of cracking and one broke completely in half the very first time we used them. I guess if you were just going to drive and handle the bags yourself they would be ok but for airline use the handles are not strong enough to take the abuse any baggage would get by the baggage handlers.
This set is amazing. They are fully expandable so I can fit so much clothes in these. We traveled with this set to Orlando and they held up great. We purchased these mainly for our military move to Italy this month and I am sure they will hold up well. I am very happy with my purchase!
