As a long-time Ricardo of Beverly Hills customer, I much prefer their former interior construction, no longer available. The upper section of the case tends to sag, once it's packed with even the lightest weight items. I looked forward to having four wheels for easier handling; they only track the same direction occasionally. The rest of the time, they take coaxing. And when I stand the packed case upright, it tips over. There is no bar to stabilize the filled case. I'm very disappointed.
- How accurate was the sizing? Accurate
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Good
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No, some zippers remained tweaked, even after filling the suitcase.
our old suitcases were also Ricardo - but over the many many years they had gotten pretty tired - and today's suitcases are lighter (empty) and now have the four wheels - these were a couple inches bigger, too - the positioning of the pockets are similar to our old ones. we've used these for a couple trips and they work great - lots of space and noticeably lighter and easy to maneuver. we liked those so much we just got the 20 inch version for shorter trips.
