size of bag is great for my 12" laptop. there is room to spare on the laptop side of the bag where i can carry folders and the power cord. you could put a sleeve around your laptop for extra protection. other side is sufficient for a thin container for your lunch, a padfolio, and some other things. wasn't particularly excited about the bright-colored interior, but now that i use the bag i find the bright interior color especially helpful in locating the things inside. bag seems very hearty and well-made. looks professional, but is still cute and has style. seems as though it will last for several years to come.

Good buy
 Nov 16, 2010

Its the perfect size for a small laptop 15"...Great workmanship and quality. Its light in weight which was important since I carry this everywhere. Small and truly looks like a purse. I've received many compliments on it. I only wish it was a bit more stylish. Its rather plain looking so to add a design element I clipped a gold pin to it. overall a good value

awesome bag!
from Watertown, SD,  Oct 22, 2010

Once again Overstock sends great product to my door. Just received this bag and I was very impressed with the quality and construction. I have a 13.3 macbook and it fits with extra room in the back section. The front section will have plenty of room for my Kindle and all of the power cords, along with some personal items. There is an outer zipper pocket for things you need to reach quickly, such as plane tickets. The handles are long enough to wear on your shoulders but not too long so that they would drag on the floor when the bag is put down. I was looking for a bag that didn't look like a computer bag, but more like a designer type bag. This bag has everything I was looking for in a bag and it has the durability of a bag that would cost three times as much!

This bag is great!
 from Dublin,CA,  Sep 28, 2010

I am in love with this bag. It looks very modern. The size is just right to comfortably fit my 15" laptop. It has 2 compartments so in the other compartment I can fit anything else I need. This way I don't need to carry second bag with me. It looks very sturdy and laptop pocket is properly lined with soft material. I feel that laptop is very well secured in this bag. This bag also has small outside pocket perfect for keeping your keys and cell phone.

Nice and sturdy laptop bag
from New York, NY,  Mar 3, 2010

I've only had this bag a month or so, but it seems quite sturdy and I'm hopeful that the fabric (a strong nylon) will hold up well. It's also pretty stylish. It fits my laptop well, and can hold enough other items that I don't need to carry two bags when I travel. The one downside I found is that there is not a small unzippered pocket on the outside (say, for airline tickets when you're in security). That said, it does have two compartments inside and came with a $145 price tag attached (as opposed to the deal here on Overstock). For the price, this bag is worth the value!

Exactly What I Ordered
from Rochester, NY,  Feb 11, 2010

This bag is everything that it was described to be...perfect for my Dell Inspiron, which is bigger than some standard laptops (but not quite as big as some other ones out there). Durable, holds what I need it to hold, and looks professional without looking like a guy's bag. One review said the inside lining looked more like pink...I would say it is definitely red. Great purchase for me!

I like it, but...
from St. Paul, MN,  Oct 2, 2009

The bag is perfect for my Dell Inspiron 15" - and accesories. There is even room to pack some work, home or school files. The material is sturdy and easily wiped down. Only 2 drawbacks are 1) that although it has the metal "feet" on the bottom - it doesn't stand alone when set down - if there is anything in the bag it is unbalanced and falls over unless its against a wall or furniture & 2) there is no shoulder strap. The straps are large enough to go over your shoulder and hold the bag to your body, but they are rounded and not actually shoulder designed (in my opinion). So, with a purse, and the bag, they have to be on opposite shoulders.

Great Bag!
from Portland, Oregon,  Sep 1, 2009

I recevied my bag yesterday and I love it. My mom carried it before me and is telling me how wonderful all the storage is. Looks like I might have to buy her one or one for myself being I might not get mines back. Only thing is that the color says Brown/red I believe that the color is Brown/PINK. I like it regardless.

too heavy to carry
from Tampa, FL,  May 21, 2009

This is a beautiful bag; however, with a laptop and a few files in it, it is impossible to carry on your shoulder. It is so heavy that carrying by hand is the only option. Otherwise, the two straps dig into your shoulderblade and the weight will set your spine out of alignment. It does fit a lot of things inside which is wonderful and the fabric is very durable. It is well made and will last a long time. I'll use it for a while because it is the best I've been able to find for the price, but I will be replacing it when I have enough money to buy a better one with a cross body shoulder strap. If this bag had one, it would be perfect.

laptop bag
 from OHIO,  Dec 13, 2008

This bag exceeded my expectations. It is light weight yet sturdy; Cute and convenient. It replaces a Targus which in comparison was heavier and bulkier. I can easily carry my computer and the supplies that I need to work efficiently at home.

Bravo!
Anonymous  from Cincinnati, Ohio,  Dec 12, 2008

This bag has it all!I purchased 3 to use for school. I load my books and materials for each class into one of the GiddyUp bags, and then swap out my laptop. This bag balances everything well - and it sits perfectly on your shoulder with just enough, but not too much, of a drop that is braces well under my elbow when I carry it.I have wanted one of these since I first saw a positive review in Lucky magazine, but they about $125 at regular price. When I saw them for sale here, I started with a single purchase to see if it was a good bag for my needs... after my first day using that bag I jumped online and purchased two more.I also use this bad as a carry on when I fly: Fits under the seat well and makes great use of small space. The outside zip pocket is a truly useful feature on the GiddyUp, many bags have outside pockets that are hard to access when the bag is full - not the case here. So, I suggest that you buy this bag. Right now . Before I purchase the rest of them. I am thinking these could be perfect Christmas gifts for several of my friends...

Great Bag!
 from California,  Nov 6, 2008

I did a lot of research online for a carrying case/bag for my new 15" MacBook Pro. I wanted something cute that was kind of like a purse, that wasn't too masculine, but was still very functional. I decided to get the PInder GiddyUp bag. It looks about the same in person as it does in the pictures online, but I thought the colors of mine (dark chocolate and red) were much nicer than the picture looked. I also thought that the bag was going to be a lot bigger than it is; I was pleased to find out it was quite a manageable size, especially considering I carry around so much stuff. If you stuff it completely full it looks more like a suitcase than a purse, though. One thing I don't like about the bag is that I wish the straps/handles were just a little bit longer, so that it is easier to carry when I want to sling it over my shoulder. I love the pockets and different compartments it has. There's one compartment for the laptop that fits perfectly when my computer is in its Incase Neoprene sleeve. I wouldn't use this bag for my laptop without a sleeve with a soft inside because I carry books, binders, and/or notebooks in the other compartment and I'd be nervous about it getting scratched by the nylon. What's nice about the second compartment is that it has a pocket that's perfect for pencils and such, or a phone, and other pockets for your charger, wallet, iPod, whatever. There's also a really nifty pocket on the outside of the bag that zips shut and that's good for keys, cell phone, or whatever you need to be able to access quickly. On my bag, a couple of the stitches on the outside of the bag were loose/frayed. It doesn't affect the bag other than cosmetically. Overall, it's a really well-made case, well thought out design (except for length of straps), and perfect pockets and compartments. 4.5/5 stars =]
