A really nice looking waist purse is hard to find. I wear this one even to church. Because of the way it's designed it's easy to access my stuff; with most other waist purses I've had it can be a hassle trying to get things out. I had to put a few stitches through the belt because it kept getting looser and looser, but it was worth the trouble. In the largest compartment I carry a small video camera, my ipod in a bulky waterproof hard case, ipod accessories in a very large solid eyeglass case, a small spray bottle, and a pen. One compartment holds my credit cards and another my coin purse. I don't use the very small compartments that are almost part of the belt. Wearing the purse keeps me from losing it. I suffer discomfort in my back when standing, and the weight of the purse decreases my discomfort by about 50%. I highly recommend this purse.

This is a quality leather waist bag. I have used the bag several times for shopping. I like the bag for its great "hands free" feature as I tend to walk away from my shopping cart and leave a regular purse unattended. I did notice that after several hours of wear the waist strap appears to lengthen making the bag hang lower on your hip. The padded compartments are great for protecting sunglasses from scratching and a cell phone fits easily in the small front compartment. I researched this same bag on other web sites and Overstock has the best price for this bag.

Learned the hard way difference between "fanny pack" and "waist purse". This is ideal if you have a slim wallet and a few compact items. The quality however was lovely. I ended up with the Amerileather 19.99 fanny pack that doesn't have the beautiful leather, but met my needs better.

I decided to upgrade a bit from the typical fanny pack, looking for something a bit more sophisticated. This bag certainly does that. There are many little compartments, and overall I am very satisfied. Other fanny packs have more room, but I have adjusted by getting rid of things I really didn't use that much anyway and am happy to have traded a little room for a nicer, more professional and sophisticated look.

Incredible use of space, many compartments, each secure, (a surprise was two small side compartments, almost part of the belt on either side of actual bag, which are perfect for keys, change, auto door openers, complete with zippers), well -constructed and padded separate areas, strong enough for weight of phone, camera(s), small tools, etc. Visually attractive, understated, high quality. I recommend this unusually well made and beautifully designed item without a reservation.

Bought this as a gift for a family members who travels extensively. She loved the ability to carry a camera, as well as ID and a few cosmetic items. She was also impressed with the ability to carry it securely.
