Piel Leather Top Grain Leather Piggy Back Carry-on

I travel for work a lot so I like to pack light and move fast. Being a devotee of xxx, I have made it my mission to find the perfect carry on bag. The Piel Top Grain Leather Piggy Back Carry-on is not quite perfect, but it is as close to perfection as I have found to date. So what are the pros? 1. It can carry one weeks worth of clothes + laptop + toiletries + other paraphenalia. (Note, I am rather fanatical about travelling light, so it can probably take 3 days worth of clothes for the average person. I am not including shoes in my definition of one week worth of clothes because I am wearing them.) 2. It is on the safe side of "carry on sized" so there is very little chance of being forced to check it. 3. Passing through security is quite easy because the laptop can be quickly removed and replaced. 4. It is fairly light, much lighter than other bags with comparable capacity. 5. It is soft enough to squeeze into any overhead compartment. 6. I think it looks great! On the downside: 1. The bag is lacking a compartment for storing unfolded letter or A4 sized paper. 2. The opening of the main compartment is a little on the small size in that the zips do not span the height of the bag, thus if you pack something in the very bottom of the main compartment, you have to unpack the bag to get it out. My overall conclusion is that one or two small design modification would make this bag perfect, but as it stands it is very close to perfection anyway. I highly recommend it.

The bag is attractive. I have not used it yet but looks nice with the matching carry-on bag. Seems to be well made.
