My daughter is a bit rough on book bags and this one managed to last half a year. With the history of my daughter's book bags, that's a pretty impressive record. Its nicely and well made, the wheels are still in proper working condition, the handle and support system is still working properly. The zipper and the interior compartments have begun to tear/ not work as of 7 months after it arrived and upon obvious abuse.Read More
Purchased as a gift for my handicapped sister for Christmas. She loves it. Zippers seemed quality built and the wheels strong too. Its large enough for overnight. The color choices were pretty good too...we went for the purple.Read More
It's a decent backpack but I don't think it will last more than one school year. My daughter (going into 6th) thinks it isn't large enough, but I think it will work. Not quite sure what the loops in the front are for. Maybe just decoration??Read More
The rolling backpack came nicely packaged and so far has met all my expectations.Read More
This backpack was ordered for my daughter in 5th grade, she has been using it for 2 weeks and it is broken and tearing on the inside. I am very disappointed with this product. I thought I found a good deal for the price but I was wrong, will have to keep on looking.Read More
This pack is just what I needed for school (I'm an "older" student). I carry a bunch of heavy textbooks, and it just feels secure and solid. Rolls around easily. The slide handle goes "tall" enough for me (I'm 5'8) There are side-mesh pockets for water bottle, head phones, etc. Inside the front section there are pen slots and a pocket, I like that the bottom is solid and there is room enough that my texts don't get curled corners. The cloth handle to lift it, feels secure (I think I carry about 30 lbs). This pack is perfect for me and so is the price! Plus the shipping was only $2.99. I like that. Oh yes, and it does have the the thick padded straps if you want to carry it on your back. I highly recommend this "Pack on Wheels".Read More
I bought this for my 10 year old daughter to use for school. She's very happy with it. It has 2 large zippered compartments with 2 mesh pockets on the side. It also has a smaller open compartment in the front. On the back are two straps for carrying as well as a velcro'd pocket. The backpack is well made and worth the price. I was looking at wheeled backpacks that were *** and up. I just didn't want to spend that much so this one fit the bill perfectly.Read More
I bought 2 of these backpacks for my daughters to use on a family trip to Europe (5 cities). These backpacks were light even packed with 5 days worth of clothes, easy to convert to backpack mode when they had to be carried (up and down steps as well as onto the subways), and withstood rigorous rolling over all types of street terrains. Great sturdy wheeled backpacks! I'm still giving it 5 stars even though it had an occasional tipping problem when being pulled in a rush.Read More
I bought two wheeled backpacks and this one is by far the most durable and easy to use. It's very strong and good quality. I also purchased item#11271715 the olympia 19-inch rolling backpack at the same time, and it was so flimsy and made very poorly. I needed to return it due to the backpack splitting at the seams(on the bottom). I only had one small book and a lunch box in it. I am glad it was under warranty! I then ordered this PacificGear and I LOVE IT!!!!What a BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!Read More
This is a very good rolling backpack. I just used it on a trip to Orlando and it fits easily in the overhead bin without a lot of pushing and shoving. It's also easy to pick up and sling over a shoulder while you handle your other bags. Good construction, good design.Read More

Hello Dcheryl! These awesome backpacks are made in China. Thanks for shopping with us!
This backpack is labeled as a laptop rolling backpack. What size of laptop would it be able to fit and does it come with a built in sleeve or do I need to provide my own for it?
Thank you for shopping with us ameya26. We are sorry for the confusion but it is primarily a backpack. It does not come with a sleeve. Packing capacity: 17 inches high x 13 inches wide x 7.5 inches deep. Check the dimensions of your computer, the ones I checked the 15 inch would fit but the one 17 inch on our site would be two large. I hope this helps.

Although both are excellent choices, they offer slightly different features to travelers. Before you choose whether wheeled backpacks or travel bags are best for you, consider their differences to make sure you pick the right one to fit your travel habits.

Benefits of Using a Travel Backpack When Traveling
Travel backpacks offer a number of benefits for all types of travelers and may be an attractive alternative to larger tote bags, duffel bags and miniature suitcases. Whether you're traveling with a backpack over a long distance or traveling by plane with a small backpack as a carry-on, use a travel backpack designed with extra compartments and tight-fitting, portable style to ensure a comfortable travel experience. Easy to stow and store: The design of a travel backpack makes it easy to store it in overhead bins in a bus, train or airplane. The soft sides of a backpack let it conform to tight storage spaces. Many travel backpacks have compression straps that let you cinch the packs contents down to take up less space. Comfort: Travel backpacks put less strain on your body than most other kinds of luggage because their weight doesn't pull on one side of your body. Travel backpacks are designed to evenly distribute their load on your shoulders and hips, making them easy to carry for several hours. Thick straps with lots of padding make it even more comfortable. Keeps travelers organized: Many travel backpacks are designed with several compartments to store smaller items, such as water bottles, a cell phone, MP3 player, PDA, passport and subway tokens. This makes it easier to stay organized while traveling, ensuring that all your basic items and accessories are within easy reach. Easy to move around: Probably the biggest benefit of using a travel backpack is the ease of movement it provides. You don't have to worry about dragging a rolling suitcase up a flight of stairs. A travel backpack is also easier to maneuver through a crowd of people than most other types of luggage. Protects items from the elements: Many travel backpacks are made with water-resistant and waterproof fabrics that protect your valuables no matter what the weather forecast may look like. Travel backpacks made with polywick fabric, ballistic nylon and other weatherproofing materials are especially beneficial for travelers who will be outdoors for most of their trip. What to Pack for Africa's Highest Peak
Imagine that you are planning a trip that will take you from the equator to Antarctica in seven days. Now imagine that you have to limit the amount of gear you pack to 35 pounds or less. The task is getting more complicated. What kind of luggage would you choose and how would you pack for a trip that encompasses such extreme changes in climate and altitude? When Erica Davis, a paraplegic athlete, and Tara Butcher, a physically challenged athlete, climb Africa's highest peak, they will have to answer exactly those questions. The challenge: Mount Kilimanjaro rises from nearly sea level all the way up to 19,330 feet. The trail climbs from the hot bushland through rain forest, moorland, alpine desert and arctic glaciers up to the rocky Uhuru peak. A climb like Mt. Kili presents special challenges when it comes to luggage, clothing and gear. Being prepared for the weather and temperature extremes is a necessity, but it's also important not to pack too much. There is a 35-pound weight limit to each piece of luggage carried by a porter. Most climbers pack one 35-pound capacity bag to go up with a porter and one small daypack to carry up themselves. The daypack: Erica and Tara will have 7 days to summit Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro. As they pass from one ecological zone to the next, their needs will change and so will the contents of their daypacks. Each day Erica and Tara will repack their daypacks in anticipation of the specific challenges of the day's journey. In general, their daypacks will include things like water, snacks, dry clothing, waterproof gear and sunscreen. The importance of keeping clothing and gear dry cannot be overstated. When choosing a daypack, a small to medium backpack made of lightweight, moisture-resistant material that comes with a removable waterproof shell will be ideal. It's also helpful if the backpack has convenient access to a water bottle compartment or can accommodate a water bladder. Plenty of pockets, zipper compartments and hooks are also handy. What to pack: A sturdy but lightweight water-repellant duffel bag with a capacity of about 35 pounds is ideal for the trek to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The bag needs to have room for plenty of layers of breathable, moisture-wicking clothing and layers of fleece clothing, as well as a waterproof layer. To save space, it's a good idea to pack clothing that does double duty, such as pants that easily convert into shorts. Aside from clothing, the climb will also require accessories like sunglasses, hats and gloves, plus equipment like trekking poles and a headlamp, as well as toiletries like sunscreen, insect repellent and a first-aid kit. Support the Challenged Athletes Foundation: Overstock.com and the C.H.E.K Institute are co-sponsoring Erica and Tara's climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in order to raise awareness for athletes with physical challenges who wish to participate and compete in sports. Portions of the proceeds will benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). CAF raises funds to give physically challenged athletes the opportunity to stay active and competitive in the sports they love. To show your support for physically challenged athletes like Erica and Tara, donate now to the Challenged Athletes Foundation for the Fit 4 Kili Climb. Hardside Luggage vs Softside Luggage
There are some very obvious differences between hardside luggage and softside luggage. But there are also a lot of more subtle differences, and knowing all the differences between the two types of luggage can help you find a luggage set that is right for you and makes your travels easier. Materials: Hardside luggage is usually made of aluminum or polycarbonates. They are chosen because they have a good strength-to-weight ratio. Softside luggage is made of a variety of materials, including vinyl, cotton, polyester, leather and other durable materials. These materials are chosen because they are lightweight, flexible and durable. Features: The features offered on softside and hardside luggage are nearly identical. They both often offer wheels and extendable handles for convenience when carrying the luggage. Inside, they can have an array of pockets for holding toiletries or preventing clothes from getting wrinkled. What can be different is that softside luggage typically has several pockets that are accessible without opening the suitcase. Also, softside luggage almost always uses zippers to hold it close, but hardside luggage will have some type of latch to secure it. Price: Many factors determine the cost of luggage; one of which is the materials it is made of, but features, size, brand and other factors play a part as well. Not all hard materials are the same and not all soft materials are the same, but on average, the initial cost of hardside luggage is going to be higher than the initial cost of comparable softside luggage. One thing to consider though is value. If you are a frequent flyer, the initial cost of hardside luggage might be offset by its longevity. Use: If you are someone who keeps their luggage close to them and will only take a carry-on with you, the lightweight, flexibility of softside luggage might be better for you. The rigid shape of a hardside case doesn't always conform to the shape of an overhead bin; however, if you like to check your bags, hardside luggage is less likely to be damaged when thrown around in the holding area and will keep its contents from getting crushed when another bag gets thrown on top of it. Bottom line: When it comes down to it, both softside luggage and hardside luggage do the same basic thing. But the choice is about you and what you want. Do you want something that is incredibly durable and will protect everything inside of it? Or would you rather have luggage that is more flexible and lightweight?
