My daughter started the school year out with a different bookbag with wheels. That bag started falling apart about the first week of school and it went down hill the weeks to follow. I found myself shopping for another bag. I asked different people where to go and what bag to buy. I finally realized that there was a student with the same bag in a different color who had the bag for 2 years, and it was still in excellent shape. I decided to go online and order the bag . We are very pleased with the product. I am so pleased that I am going to order another bag in a different color for next year.
Well, this backpack is awesome IF you don't use it for a student with heavy textbooks. To me this kind of defeats the purpose of a rolling backpack. We love the color choices. We haven't had any problems with zippers or wheels....yet The problem is that the weight of 3 to 5 textbooks made the bottom buckle and the bag no longer stands up on it's own. This doesn't entirely prevent the bag from being useful as it still rolls fine. It gets scuffed up more now, however because it falls over on the ground when he lets go of the handle. Unfortunately, this weak bottom isn't covered by the replacement plan I paid for. This bag is more of a take some clothes to grandma's house for a visit type of bag. It's not strong enough for student usage. Too bad because it's a great bag otherwise.I would recommend this bag ONLY if you don't use it for a student who brings home heavy books.
Very high quality, and compared to other rolling backpacks, very much superior. it's quiet and heavy duty, has just enough space/pockets and I love the way it's designed.
The zipper broke within the first 3 days rendering it unusable to my son. Very frustrating. It is also hard to get his books in and out because the top does not open as widely as needed.
