I love military packs and was excited to see this bag go on sale. I bought it for school, and when I got it in, I absolutely loved the large dimensions and earth tone color of the bag. However, less than two weeks after receiving it, I found there's already a hole in one of the side pockets along the seam, which I'm going to have to repair myself. Not a big enough defect to warrant sending it back for a refund, but still, I expected more from a "rugged" pack like this one. Can it not even stand up to a few weeks of carrying textbooks before it busts somehow?

My kids have a lot of school books and materials they have to drag back and forth to school. The regular backpacks that can be found at major retailer for the same price, just do not hold up! My son (10yrs) loves the camo backpack we purchased for him and it is holding up well! I have already recommended this backup to another mom at school, she purchased one for her son also!

I bought these backpacks for my sons, who are in Jr. High., to use for school. The size is perfect, the zippers are very heavy duty, and the materials used are also heavy duty and high quality. We like all the pockets and the padding makes it very comfortable. What a great find!

I have used many from military to others but this is my favorite backpack. Its very versatile can Carry lots of stuff when hiking or bicycling.

My son wanted a camoflage type backpack. This one is very roomy and lots of compartments. All books fit it, and then some. Great back support.

I got this back pack for my grandson, he absolutely loves it. Its very sturdy and easy to care for. He wants another one to carry his WII game and all the accessories.

I shopped many stores for a school backpack (for my son) and found nothing of this quality for the price. the heavy duty zippers seem like they should last a long time and the workmanship seems rugged and sturdy. it is still pretty new, so I don't have a long term assessment but I am waiting for him to finish school so can use for my own personal use as a hunting day / weekend pack as I am due for a new one.

Nice, heavy duty construction. Like the metal zippers. School bag for 4th grader that is hard on bags. So far so good. Two weeks into school and nothing has broken or ripped.

When I was looking at this backpack online and at the price, I was afraid that it was gonna be smaller than what I thought. But once it got here and we opened it up, I was pleasantly surprised at how large it really is.

I recently purchased this bag so i can carry my baby stuff to take to the baby sitter and it works so well. Prior to that i had a nike bag which did not last long, the bag started to unthread. i have had this bag for some time now and i have no complaints. it holds lots and the great thing about it is that it does not feel heavy. i would definatley recommend this bad to any one who is weither going hiking or just needs a dependable and strong bag.

This was part of a birthday gift for a 13 yr old boy. I was extremely happy with this product. It is very sturdy and will last longer than any of his previous bags. He loves the style and how comfortable it is to carry even full of books! This was well worth the money and will work great as carry on luggage for travelling teens and adults!
