I've had it for a few weeks now and so far it's held up really well. I live on my college's campus and the first day I used it, it poured. The bag is not waterproof but it surprisingly did not get anything inside wet. Just flew to another city a few days ago and used it as my suitcase/carry-on. It's a great because it fit all of my stuff but still fit under the seat in front of me. I love it so far, no issues at all. And it definitely feels lighter than my previous bookbag. I would definitely recommend it, it's great. I got the green color and I really like it. The one very small "problem" is that it slouches. However, I love this bookbag so much, that I don't really even care about that.

Bought this backpack for middle-schooler who's always carrying a HUGE 3 ring binder, several textbooks, and several notebooks at a time. Everything FITS, with room to spare and pockets for other essentials (like toys)! The canvas construction seems sturdy as are the zippers. The straps are padded and son says are comfortable. Would recommend.

If you're looking for a very sturdy, extremely ROOMY canvas backpack, you've found it! I was nervous buying online and did several searches for images of the bag in use to no avail. When it arrived (in a snap, btw) the box was rather patched together. But when I opened the box I was so thrilled! It is perfect. I can't say enough about how big it is, and with well-placed/sized pockets. I bought it to take camping in the boonies and the sturdy composition is exactly what I wanted. The pocket options are great, especially if you're using this as "luggage" on a trip. I chose the brown color after reading one reviewer's comment about the intensity of the green. The brown has a slight greenish tint, making it quite neutral, which is nice. I am gushing but this was an experience of an item being exactly what I was looking for! My husband wants one too, but matching packs would be too nerdy.

My son wanted a canvas backpack and I wanted one that would last more than a year. Fits both requirements.

The company that offers "Lifetime Warrenty" - Luggage America - offers very poor service. They expect me to mail in the backpack (which has been used for only 3 months), pay for the postage, AND send them a $9.50 mailing label for return shipping. Their ad states that they offer free shipping. I'm very disappointed and may report them to the Better Business Bureau. I would choose any other backpack over this one. The product is of poor quality and the company doesn't even back their own products.

Needed a backpack that fit a 16.3" laptop and left room for clothes, etc. It does! Most do not.

I like the look and feel of this Backpack. I purchased it to use as my carry on bag for my trip. It has lots of room for all that I need to put in there.

This isn't the fanciest backpack, but the simple layout means you aren't sacrificing space to a dozen little subdividers. I have another backpack of similar size and this one seems to hold twice as much. The zippers are BIG and smooth. The cloth looks rugged but is very soft to the touch. It's not very heavy canvas but it's handled books, laptops, and small loads of groceries with no problems. One tiny complaint is that the bright, cheerful logo detracts from the tough military look. I sewed a band patch over it to grunge it up.

The bag-pack is little heavy but perfect for me ( May be because it is made of canvas). Most of the pockets have double zippers. All these zippers are plastic made but works well.

Very large, and very well built. The pocket easily holds my Asus G51J, which is a little wider/longer than the old "fat" PS3's. Beyond that, it also holds books and papers, etc. Plus, it's twenty times more comfortable than my old messenger bag. The straps are excellent. Seriously worth the money.

This back pack is nice and large. Has tons of different pockets of all shapes and sizes. Nice heavy duty zippers. Absolutely love it! Would recommend it to anyone traveling or hiking. You won't be disappointed. I bought it as a gift and if I didn't already have a nice backpack, I would definitely buy one for myself. It rocks!

Large backpack, very well made, and appears it will hold up well.

When I first got this backpack, I was a bit disappointed. It looked about he same size as my current backpack, but I was in for a surprise! This backpack is quite large inside and quite roomy. I can carry all my books, lunch, and work-out gear. One would never know it from looking at it from the outside. I am quite pleased with this backpack

My kids have a lot of school books and materials they have to drag back and forth to school. The regular backpacks that can be found at major retailer for the same price, just do not hold up! My daughter (11yrs) at first did not care for the tan color of the backpack, until I embellished it with iron-on decals and keychain trinkets on the zippers. Now it is "cool" and the backpack is holding up well! I have already recommended this backup to another mom at school, she purchased one for her son also!

My 13 year old son needed a larger back pack to meet his middle school needs. It is difficult to find a back pack that does not have a lap top section (which decreases book space). This pack does not waste room on a computer section so is very large. It holds his 3" binder, a few text books, his lunch box and his coat. It is sturdy and well built. Very nice value for the money.

These backpacks are so well made - I was quite impressed with the quality. The best feature . . . . the roomy interior that holds all my boy's books with no "cramming". The additional laptop strap inside makes this a "go to" bag when my oldest starts college in the fall. Thanks for a great product.

I love this backpack! It's sturdy, as other reviewers mentioned; however, it's not waterproof, but that's the only downside. Also, the zippers go off line occasionally, but not permanently - I think it's just because the teeth are so large. I carry a heavy load of textbooks around, and the design makes it feel lighter than other backpacks I've used.
