The pack is a good size and seems like it will hold up to the weather. I did almost return it due to color inaccuracy and poor quality zippers. I ordered the blue, in the photo it looks like a nice bright teal color in reality is is a dull navy. The main zipper also gets stuck easily so you have to be careful. For the price it will work as a light day pack.

The backpack is average. The problem is that it constantly frays on the inside around the zipper. This is why I wouldn't recommend this product.

My sister and I bought this backpack for our brother as a birthday gift & he loved it!! It is a very well made backpack, with plenty of storage space. My sister loved it so much she bought one too!!

I absolutely love this backpack. I wanted something to carry and protect my laptop. The only negative thing I could say is that the zipper kept getting stuck on the fabric flap beside it. After pulling it out so many times the zipper finally gave and I cannot zip it completely anymore. Just make sure the flap is pulled completely back when zipping.

a great bag from a great manufacturer - i have a larger travel bag from olympia that i have been very pleased with for over 10 years. so i decided to try their backpacks, and i'm pleased. roomy and well organized, and tough but light ripstop fabric. my only complaint is that on occasion the zippers get caught in the seam that covers them, and takes a little doing to free them up. otherwise, very happy.

I got this because of the 19" size for my 17.3" laptop, however the actual compartment for the laptop is too small, only fits up to 15". This was not in the original item description or I would not have bought this. But it does fit nicely outside the compartment and it is very secure and padded for its protection. The bag is lightweight when in full use (laptop and accessories inside). Has lots of places to tuck odds and ends of your technology items. Very roomy and not bulky. Love the color I chose, Orange, its bright. Perfect for all your back pack needs to carry your laptop and binders, folders, and whatever you choose to carry in it.

I ordered this for my son who wanted an orange backpack. I couldn't find one other than this or backpacking packs at the time. This seemed like a nice backpack, so I ordered it. My son likes how it looks, but the zipper drives everyone crazy. My son, his teachers, and me! The flap that goes over the zipper is constantly getting stuck in the zipper. Multiple times a day. His teacher has to unjam it, I have to unjam it. Ugh! I wish I'd waited and held out for the *********** backpacks I bought for my other boys - those ones are a lot nicer and definitely more user-friendly!

Bought this backpack for my middle schooler after years of purchasing Lands End backpacks for my kids. The quality of construction is wonderful, seems very durable. We purchased the orange color, which was slightly brighter than the picture. We were pleasantly surpised to find the interior of the backpack to be a very bright green. My son really likes it because it makes it so much easier to find things. He loves the various compartments for organizing. All around GREAT buy for the price!

High quality back pack. Decent sized 15" lap top padded slot. Comfortable straps. I immediately noticed that the quality of the stitching was very good, consistent spacing and no loose threads. To me that is a indication of the quality. An added bonus is that the liner on mine is a bright lime, that was a nice surprise.

Bought this for my College age son, who carries a lap top, engineering and math books, which are quite large and heavy. He goes through a backpack-a-year. Not expecting this to last any longer than any of his others. He is very rough on items such as shoes, clothes and backpacks. Our last purchase was a heavy clothe style backpack (same brand) from Overstock, which resembled the type of material army gear is made from. The straps tore off from the heavy weight of all he carries. This one seems to be constructed quite a bit better and also has more room than the last one.

Seems to be a well-made pack, with plenty of zippered pockets and hidey holes for stuff. The back is well padded, so it could be used for a laptop (in fact, the tag calls it a laptop backpack) as well as for day hikes. I'm using it for 2-wheeled commuting, so I think it'll work well.

Nice size -- not too large. Durable and brightly colored. Great for everyday use.

This backpack was pretty good. The person i bought it for has back problems and her old book bag seemed to be making it them worse. We ordered the blue which is much prettier than in the picture. The backpack has good padding on the back and shoulder portion which makes it super comfortable.

My daughter had a messenger bag, but just didn't like it. She's a big reader and it was just uncomfortable to carry. She really likes the new backback. She's able to fit in her homework folders without any bending, as well as the several books and a 4x8x3 "pencil box" that she insists on carrying. The size is quite good and fits her well. She's a tall kid (5'2"), but her little sister (7 years old and a foot shorter) also likes it and can easily carry it. We got it in blue -- thankfully it was actually a little darker than shows on the computer screen (I'm not really into BRIGHT colors myself). Really pleased with the purchase. It was similar in price to other backpacks I saw at xxxxxx, but better in quality.
