No Good
from Boston, MA,  Jan 25, 2010

There are few positives about this bag. Its cheaply made and impractical. I find it amazing how large the bag is and how little can go in. Its a behemoth of a thing, walking around with it is almost comical. With its massive flap to open it up, trying to put something in it on the go takes some struggling. and with only one flimsy cheap piece of material separating the two inside pockets and with no structure to speak of, you can feel every object you are carrying around with you. For a college student like myself, heavy loads are required and this bag started to give me back issues. You would think that the massive shoulder pad would offer some support, and I suppose it does, but the effect is minimal. It still feels like a big shapeless lump swinging from your shoulder. And to make matters worse, this heavy lump will slowly and slyly slide down your side. The strap is cheap and slips, always lengthening. I found myself several times daily looking like some kind of flailing flamingo jumping up and down trying to raise the bag back up and avoid it taking me out at the knees. The leather I doubt is real too. After a month or so the finish on the top of the bag started to flake off it attractive little bits of plastic faux leather, leaving these wonderful little gaping holes in the finish of the bag flap. This bag was infuriating on every level and there are few good memories I have of the semester I spent with it. My new bag is well constructed and even though its a fraction of the size, I can fit twice as much in it. This bag is cheap and incredibly over priced for the massive let down and hinderance that it is. Go elsewhere.

Falling Apart
from Washington DC,  Sep 5, 2011

Used this for a summer internship, was hoping to use it for school, but no dice. The inside are falling apart, ripping up and exposing the cheap styrofoam cores, now all my things get lost in the linings. I had to rivet he shoulder holder back together, the strap will not stay once adjusted. The part the strap is attached to is ripping away from the bag. VERY disappointed, esp. for the price I paid. Do not buy this, it will fall apart within a month.

  • How accurate was the sizing? It was the correct size, a big bag, if a bit saggy.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The actual leather part was fine, but the rest is crap.
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? It was fine when it came, it disintegrated later.

Nice roomy and sleek messenger bag!!!
from New York, NY,  Apr 21, 2012

Nice large and sleek messenger bag!!! The bag has plenty of room and inner pockets, including pockets for pens, cards and a cell phone. I love its sleek black leather like appearance.

  • How accurate was the sizing? Pretty accurate, although it was slightly larger than I expected, but that was a plus..
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Made of sturdy yet soft leather like vinyl with a semi-gloss yet plush sine to it.
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Yes...

Not Pleased
from Canton, MS,  Jan 4, 2012

I wasn't impressed. I was mislead by the picture and when I got the bag, it was not what I expected. It just looked cheaper and less professional than I was expecting.

  • How accurate was the sizing? Larger than I thought
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Only the front flap is leather-style material. The rest has a mesh feel to it.
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? It was fine.

Waste of time, money, and material
from Boston, MA,  Jul 25, 2011

This bag barely lasted three weeks. The only things I carried in it were a medium sized laptop (14.1", around 5 lbs), a small bag of pencils, my keys, and a binder. The shoulder pad started ripping the first day or two. Then the entire shoulder strap (which refused to stay adjusted to the setting I wanted) began ripping away from the bag at the end of the first week. I'm surprised it didn't simply fall off of my shoulder. Overall, do NOT by this bag at any cost. If you actually use to carry more than tissue paper, you will be replacing it within a month.

  • How accurate was the sizing? Worthless
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Abysmal
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? It was too pathetic to tell

courier bag
from Philadelphia Pa,  Nov 5, 2010

I like the bag overall, one problem was that the shoulder pad ripped off and I have been gentle with the bag overall. The bag looks nice and has several pockets, yet I am worried about the bag lasting overall.

Best bag I've ever bought for university
from Ble Mountains, Australia,  Nov 24, 2009

I bought the chocolate version of this bag when it was available and I really love it! It's the perfect bag for uni but I find that I also use it socially. It's great in every way; its only downside being that it doesn't have the strength leather would. I can't carry my books and laptop in my bag at the same time as the strap is starting to tear. Still, I'd rather keep sowing it up as it is so efficient and attractive. Perfect for university and/or travels.

Great bag!
from West Hartford, CT,  Oct 7, 2009

The bag is a great deal and a lot bigger in person! Plenty of room for the books that a PhD student carries around all the time with a padded pocket for my laptop...The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is for durability. No fabric is going to stand up like leather.

Nice-looking, Functional Laptop Bag
from Corning, NY,  Sep 20, 2009

This Laptop computer bag is well-made and looks great. It has the features I use and look for: a padded computer compartment, comfortable, sturdy, padded shoulder strap, outside pocket for cell phone and I use one for my hairbrush :) and inside holders for power cord and small items. It looks professional and just like the picture.
