I got this bag after lots and lots fo searching. I needed a bag large enough to hold my 17.3" laptop while not looking like your typical black bag. I wanted something classy and casual yet affordable. This bag is perfect. It does not have a lot of padding in it, which is not a huge need of mine. I am very careful with my laptop and do not bang it around. If you find you are rough and tumble with your laptop and tote, this is not the bag for you. On a side note, I love that this bag has an area for pens and other office supplies. I would totally recommend it to anyone.

This bag fits my laptop plus the paperwork I need to transport back and forth to work. The straps are long enough and wide enough to be comfortable on your shoulder with the weight of the laptop. The bag looks very expensive and I have received many compliments on it.

My wife had been looking for a bag for her new 17" laptop. this bag works perfectly. it has all the space needed for the laptop and accessories. it's also very stylish, which my wife loves!

This tote actually was true to size. The red that I ordered was a pretty blue-red. It held quite a bit but it would have been better if it had feet on the bottom to help it from falling over and wearing out. Also it doesn't have enough compartments or an outside pocket. It was easy to carry on the shoulder and didn't slide down like some shoulder straps can.

I have a 17.3" HP dv7 and have looked literally EVERYWHERE (in stores and online) for a bag to fit that was not masculine and cost less than $100. I purchased another bag online and had to return it because it wasn't even close to fitting my laptop, despite the claims that it was made for my size computer. How frustrating! (not to mention expensive to have to pay shipping again to send it back) I stumbled upon overstock.com in a last desperate search for a bag and I am so glad I did! I have never ordered from this site before and am amazed at the selection, prices, and inexpensive shipping. This bag fits my laptop perfectly and has plenty of extra room left for the power cord, mouse, etc. Plus, it's cute! I am so happy!! I do wish they had more color choices than just black and red, but it is still a great bag and I am looking forward to using it!

I have a 17 in. laptop and was having a hard time finding the right size for my computer without paying an arm and a leg. My computer fits perfectly into the tote. It fits all me needs and it's fashionable and very professional looking. I'm very happy with it.

I really like this laptop tote. The red color is gorgeous and it holds A LOT without feeling heavy.

I wanted something other than a black nylon laptop case and I didn't want to spend much money. I settled on this after looking at a LOT of cases. I also needed a bag that would fit a 17" laptop, so that narrowed my choices, as well. The construction of the case and its size are fine. It is a little heavier than I would like. The straps are sturdy and there is plenty of room for papers, etc. The small compartments for pens, etc. are adequate. This case is RED - on my screen it looked like a deep brownish red, but in reality it is more like crayon red. Not really what I wanted, but not worth returning it for, either.

Plenty big enough for my laptop & files and great price too.

Having a 17 inch notebook makes it hard to find a nice bag. Most others I had found were quite masculine, so it was a great find! The price was much lower than other women's bags I had found. Someone else mentioned the padding, but I think it has a normal amount of padding in the laptop section. I love that there is room for other books as well. I typically have at least one other book and a notebook with me and there is PLENTY of room for that as well as the power cord.

From the reviews I read before ordering, I had higher expectations for this bag. It is nice looking and holds my 17" laptop; however, the laptop occupies 1/2 of the space and the other half is for files, etc. The laptop section is wide enough to hold more than the laptop which is inconvenient for finding things on the other half of the bag. The top zipper flaps get in the way and are not designed for functionality. It is cheaply designed for the price. There are no pockets for cell phone, pens, etc.

ordered this bag for my 16.4" laptop fits great with room to spare. padded side for computer and storage pockets for pens cell phone etc. just love it looks very classy too easy to carry and nice leather straps

It's even better than I expected! Looks better than the picture. Fits my giant laptop. :) I have no regrets over this purchase.

I love my bag! I could not find one big enough locally, and was a little leary of buying one sight unseen. Imagine my delight when my bag arrived lovely, light weight, and yes, generously sized. My HP dv7 fits easily into the padded pocket, with room for my folders and charger on the other side. I added a seasonal scarf on the handle for for a fashionable look, and I get compliments whereever I take it. The bonus? It was only about half the amount of the less desireable local offerings!

I bought this bag as both a laptop bag and just a tote for work. This is a great bag - well built and fashionable. I read a review here where someone thinks there is not enough padding. I disagree with that. There is plenty of padding both inside and out to protect your laptop unless you plan on throwing it down a flight of stairs. If that is the case, no bag is going to help you. Laptop bags are meant to protect your computer from small tumbles and outside elements. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better bag for the money. I researched for weeks before I settled on this bag. I also was hoping to find a red bag, so this hit the mark on both appearance and price. I have had the bag for a month now and use it daily.

I love the look of this bag and it's big enough for my 16 inch lap top. My only complaint is the lack of padding on the bottom, so I had to purchase a sleeve to protect my laptop.

I bought this item for my daughter, who is going away to college. It is perfect for her needs. lightweight, but very sturdy. very happy
