very pleased
I am very happy with this bag. The section for the laptop is completely separate from the rest of the bag so I feel like my laptop is well-protected. The main bag compartment is very roomy and the organizational side compartments are helpful. I love the color, kind of of a dull red, and have gotten compliments on the bag. Up close you can tell that it's not real leather, but that's expected when you don't pay for leather. The construction and seams look to be of great quality.

color blind
I ordered red and could not see any red in the color I received. It was a gift and I needed it so did not return. Recipient seemed to like it, but it was more of an orange brown color. I was disappointed in the color.

Looks like leather
This bag feels sturdy and has two main compartments for files and/or a 15-inch computer. One compartment zips closed,; the other has a flap cover with snaps. The lining feels nice and looks like it will hold up over time. The bag has a sophisticated and briefcase-like look, without being masculine. The length of the bag's straps fits my over-the-shoulder, under-the-arm petite build better than many long-strapped bags. It does not have a padded compartment for computer--a feature I wish they had included.
