wheels are too small The brown leather on this bag is awesome. The storage capacity is fabulous. The handle is sturdy, in addition to being a work of art. Unfortunately, this rolling laptop case's wheels are so small that the bottom of the case drags on the ground. The bottom of the frame (leather) has worn. The stitching has worn loose. If the side walk is a little uneven, the bottom of the bag scrapes the ground. Too bad. It is a great looking case. This is my second case. I bought the black one a year ago. I thought that I had damaged the structural integrity of the frame by cramming it into an overhead compartment on a plane. When the bottom statred dragging the ground, I took it to a letter repair shop and spent $45 to recover the bottom of the frame. A month later the wheels began to rub against the bag. They looked like they were out of alignment (toe-out). I couldn't lube them enough to make it easy to roll. Since I thought it was my fault, I bought the brown one for my birthday. I haven't had it on a plane, but the same thing is happening. Great looking bag though.

Fantastic wheeled laptop case! This laptop case was absolutely perfect! so useful and cleverly designed for any traveling business person. They really thought of everything with this laptop case, from the removable wheeled portion to the various pockets, file folder portion, and the ability to slide the entire case onto the handle of another rolling suitcase. It easily fits a 17 inch laptop, which is very unusual, and it's just absolutely beautiful and excellent quality.

beautiful but heavy, fly through? good looking bag, seems well crafted. it is extremely heavy so i am using it mostly with its detachable wheel component. the briefcase is fly-through friendly if NOT used with the wheels - you would have to zip down both side zippers to flip the back of the bag up for it to go through TSA xray without having to remove the laptop when using the wheels so it is easier just to pull out your laptop. if not using the wheels, although it is still heavy, it would be fly through friendly as the laptop would not have anything on top of it to block the screener's view.

Great price for this leather beauty I got this for my husband for Christmas and due to travel, we opened our presents early. He absolutely loved it! I was also amazed at all the features... it even comes with its own "raincoat" in a separate pouch. My husband loved that he could disconnect the trolley base from the case. It has at least one expansion zipper; I had trouble looking it over while my husband was checking it out. I had hoped that the handle would be less flexy that the two skinny ones you usually see on this type of case. It did hang up and twist a little bit, but not enough to disappoint. This replaces a rolling Swiss Army bag.
