I needed something that I could use for my work as a freelancer, going out to meetings with clients. I work in an artistic field so I didn't want anything too stuffy. This bag is really nice. The leather looks nice (not cheap) and the structure is great. The thing I don't like about it is that it has an interior zipper pocket right in the middle of the bag, presumably for the laptop to fit into, however, I have a 17 inch MacBook Pro and it does not fit in the zipper pocket. It fits to one side of the pocket, which is fine, but now I'm left with an empty middle zipper pocket that I wish I could remove. Other than that, the inside pockets are nice, they fit my iPhone, my wallet and there are slots for pens. The interior is nicely padded so I'm not worried about my laptop being damaged. Overall, a really great buy.

I just took this case on its first trip and got compliments on it right away. It is a great case for a woman because it is neither as severe as a briefcase nor as floppy and unprofessional as a woman's tote. The quality of the material, hardware, and workmanship are excellent. It is stiff, however, and so not very expandable. It doesn't hold as much stuff as I thought it would from reading another review. But maybe this will keep me from carrying everything I own.
