I bought five of the laptop cases for my sons and grandsons. I think the younger ones will not think of it as an attaché case but rather as a laptop case which it is. The material is lightweight but seems very sturdy. The compartments seem they will be very useful. My one grandson married to my granddaughter is taking his on the plane when they go to Alaska to see his mother this month. The others will receive the case on Christmas.
This replaces a similar one. Important to me was the material -- holds up well (my last one finally disintegrated after 10 years of hard use) -- and the pockets -- had to be the right size and arrangement. Happy on both counts

I initially purchased a leather bag, but my husband was concerned about scratching the leather while putting it under the seat of an airplane. The nylon bag held the computer but not much else. Not enough inside room, but ample pockets on the outside.
- How accurate was the sizing? Smaller than a standard bag

Well constructed bag--very heavy duty material, unlike many of the "leather" bags on the market. Ample pockets, inside and out for all cords and accessories. Divided bag provides protection for laptop and bag is large enough to carry small printer as well. This brand is a bit pricey, but compared to some other brands which do not hold up very well, I feel it is well worth the price. Samsonite makes a very similar looking carryall for a considerably lower price at the local warehouse store. Most of the other carryalls I have looked at were either too small to accomodate laptop and accessories, or much bigger than needed. The 51/2" to 61/2" width of this bag is ideal for me.
