I bought this set for my trip to Hanoi, Vietnam and China. I got the Gold color - but it really wasn't gold - more of a beige thing. It stands out in the luggage carousel at airport. I was impressed by the simplicity of its look. It is lightweight and the spinner was a great help for moving around. The cases stood the airport handlers in both Vietnam and China, there were just some scratches on the case, but nothing serious. On the way back (China-Boston), however, the zipper broke. I had informed Overstock about it and they took care of my concern right away. They sent me a replacement for the 25-inch which I just received. I believe this luggage can handle travels everywhere, it's just unfortunate that I got one with not a sturdy zipper. However, Overstock.com took care of it right away. Once I have the opportunity to use the luggage again - perhaps next year as I am scheduled to travel to the Philippines, I will write again to let you know how I did with the Traveler's Choice luggage. Overall, I will not hesitate to recommend this luggage to anyone. It's a very good value for your money.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pattern. My favorite color is RED so this Luggage suits me Perfectly. The Gold Fluer de Lis sparkle brilliantly all over. I was dissappointed to find that all 3 of the upright pieces have in-line wheels--the selling description expressly stated that the largest 2 had the new spinner wheels--so if this feature is a must-have Beware! Also, the 3 uprights have a combination of black (handles and corner protectors) and brown (zippers)--I would have liked consistency much better--either the brown OR the black, but having both is aesthetically awkward. I do love the Gold brass detail holding the handles in place and the Doctor's Bag is my FAVE! In fact, it was the deciding factor in choosing this set and only has brown leather (no black zipper). *Note: I purchased this set for my trip to Spain this summer (2010) so I have not actually used the uprights (except wheeling them around in front of my mirror HAHA!) but I received countless compliments on my new "Overnight" bag, which is large enough for a weekend trip (or a week if you're a light packer, which I am not). This bag only has two handles and can only be carried on small shoulders--this bag also gets heavy very easily so your arms will be dying if you dont take this into consideration. The item has a 5year warranty and I purchased the 2year contract from Overstock as well (just in case!)

Haven't used it yet--will leave soon on a cruise. It is accurately described, although would call it more tan or bronze than gold. Sorry that I procrastinated and didn't get the blue before it sold out. It will still stand out from all the black luggage. I love the spinner wheels and light weight and it seems well constructed. Appreciate that I could buy the two pieces without the 29" for the larger--anything over 25" is just too big and easy to over pack. I shopped around a lot before I settled on this set. It makes the two wheeled suitcases obsolete. It is so easy to handle, especially if you are handling more than one. You can push it along with one finger.

I used all 3 pieces of this set on a trip to UK. The medium sized piece arrived at LHR with a 2.5" dent on the front of it, but other than that it made it there and back without any damage. I purchased this set for $$$$ delivered. For that price I am happy with it. I would suggest paying more and purchasing hard side with larger double spinner wheels and heavier telescoping handles. The handles on these pieces twist so much it makes pushing them nearly impossible. They can be pulled in the same manner as 2 wheeled luggages, but the small size of the single spinners makes it very easy to drag and scratch the backside of the case if you are not very careful. Additionally, the zippers on all three cases were covered in glue. So much so, that the cases could not be opened without first being cleaned of all the excess glue. Had I not been leaving 2 days later, I would have returned them. Once the glue was removed, they functioned properly. I purchased the blue set thinking that it would be unusual. Unfortunately, other companies manufacture the same size bag in the same hue of blue. Another passenger on our flight left LHR with my bag thinking it was hers. Fortunately, she eventually returned it. Gold appears to be a very popular colour as well, so think twice when choosing a colour! On the plus side, this luggage is extremely light and all 3 pieces nest beautifully for storage.

Finally resolved to travel light and just go carry-on. Hooray! Just tried the small suitcase of this set on a trip and it worked fine. Not the best made, but very adequate for the price. Zippers may get to be a problem. Would love a strap to keep half of clothes in when opened, especially when using the expandable option, which is great. All in all, a good recommendation so far. Love the soft gold/champagne color.

Perfect size for a carry-on. I just completed a weeklong trip to Central America and, with judicious packing, was able to carry everything I needed. I didn't use the small tote that came with it but may do that next time. For the price this is a great little suitcase. And...bright gold (the color I selected) shows up in the overhead compartments so there's no hesitation on whose bag it is!!!!!

I actually got it for both my spouse to use, however I know I need one large case for him. We are going for a week in Canada, so its is good for a week for a female. I will use it in October, I will see if it will hold up against the travel. I chose the gold an it looks great! I look forward to showing if off next month.

I ordered the gold set and was a bit concerned with it being too flashy, but thankfully it's more of a beige color. The solid cases are sturdy, and the single pocket is enough for toiletries. This item was purchased for someone who travels 24/7 for a living, so it will need to stand up to the rigors of constant use. So far, so good!

two of the four feet fell off my large suitcase on one trip, nails were sticking out. never happened on a suitcase before! and zipper was sticking prior to trip. had to remove rubber glue to make it work better. poorly made! and avoid the gold color - shows too much wear and tear! and lock is junky too. and too hard to open and close with clothes in there. best is the lid type where it unzips on one side and not down the middle... everything comes falling out when you zip or unzip!

The product is my first purchase of travel luggage in a very long time. Love the fact each smaller case fits into the larger one for storage. Strong and easy to maneuver even fully loaded. Took the first flight with no damage from the handlers. Best of all is the new gold color. The luggage stands out on the conveyer belt without being flashy. This was a good buy.

We travel quite a bit. I hated waiting for a suitcase on the baggage claim that looks like all the others. This one is great! I get lots of compliments. My husband doesn't mind them either, as they are not too girly looking. The have held up well and are good quality.
