Luca Vergani Giraffe 2-piece Cosmetic Case Set

I thought these were adorable, and that I could use one of them as my purse/carry on, and the smaller for cosmetics and what-not inside my larger carry-on. Yeah, not so much. (At least not for me.) They are very well made--better than some of my larger luggage! However, neither would make a useful purse because you have to unzip it until it splits completely open, spilling out everything else in the bag. Actually, that happens whether or not you use it as a purse. It does have a dividing piece with a small, elasticized pouch that sort of keeps things in place. Additionally, these suckers are nearly HARD cases. They do not bend, consequently, it's not something you can stuff in another bag and smush down to make other things fit. This is how I have ended up using them. The larger one is now storage for all of my travel make-up and toiletry bags/rolls. The smaller one contains all of my travel sized containers of products. So, they are helpful in the sense that when I travel, I know exactly where to go to get my travel stuff. I think if you were just going on a two or three day domestic trip, you could carry this along for cosmetics, but, they're not as useful as I thought they would be.

Both pieces in the set are larger than I thought they would be. The largest is an awkward size and don't know what I'd use it for. The zippers are sometimes hard to zip up but I am using the smaller one in the set as a cosmetic case and it's worked fine so far. It is very durable material for travelling.
