Not the quality I expected
We bought the Kaiki color because he black was not available. We have taken one round trip airline trip and the luggage looks awful. One of them was completely torn up. The flap on the front which has a buckle but snaps, must have gotten caught in something and was completely torn off. The kaiki on both pieces has black marks all over and looks awful. The leather on the bottom was even messed up after just one trip. I am VERY disappointed in London Fog regarding this luggage.

Travelbaggage
I'm not a fan of ordering these kinds of items over the internet. Usually you get it and the quality isn"t all you had hoped. Then there is the hassle of RETURN! I ordered this for two reasons: (1) Out of desperation because I wasn't finding anything I liked reasonably priced and (2) I had recently ordered a briefcase for my son from this site and he loved it. Back to the suitcase. What can I say--my husband was extremely impressed and that is saying alot. He is the world traveller in this family and knows when he sees something good. This bag packed all I needed for a two week overseas trip with room to spare. It included extras (garment zip, toiletry bag, etc) and also extra roomy exterior pockets which are always important to me. It travelled very well. After being loaded and off-loaded on at least six flights there is hardly any visible evidence of wear. For the efficiency of ordering, receiving quickly and the superior quality I give everything high marks. But if this is just about the suitcase, then I say BUY IT.

Large case-light weight
Super case. It's the lightest I've found for its size. With the airlines restrictions on number of cases the weight of one's case becomes important. Almost all of the cases of this dimension are about 3+ lbs heavier. This case allows one to pack an extra 3 lbs of clothes or items in the case. We are frequent world travelers and that extra 3 lbs of clothes can be very important on a long (3 weeks+) cruise. There are sufficient pockets to separate items and the teflon treatment should repel the rain as the case sits in the rain at the airport. (yes, it does happened. We've sat in the terminal and watched our unprotected suitcases sit unprotected while we waited to board our flight.) the case is easy to wheel around and I expect the the leather corners to help protect against wear. My wife was so impressed with the case, I had to order her one when we returned from our latest trip.
