I got this bag for my husband who teaches college and he loves it! it is such great quality and was such a great price. It looks really nice too. I got him this bag almost 2 years ago and other than a couple of scuff marks it still looks like new. One thing negative about the bag is the laptop case. it is bulky and ugly but luckily it lifts right out and we hardly ever use it.

This bag is fantastic! It has tons of pockets - some zippered and hidden, others open for easy access. The strap is wide and makes it very comfortable. If this bag came with a full leather strap it would stretch out over time, but the wide woven strap will not do that. As a constant traveler, this bag made my first trip with it much easier as everything I packed in it was right there and easy to grab. Even when very full this bag doesnt seem very heavy, and I think it is due to the great weight distribution of the woven strap. The interior is lined and the stitching both inside and out is wonderful. This bag does not appear to be "cheap" and for the price it is an absolute steal! My only problem with the bag is the color - I ordered it in brown, and the bag I received is much more of a tan color. I read in a previous review that the burgundy colored bag also came different than it appeared in the picture, so be careful when selecting the color. However, the bag was just too good to return, and I knew I would not find anything remotely similar if I did. I'm VERY pleased with this bag.

I like the many compartments in this bag, but the leather looks much cheaper than it appears in the photos. For the price, you can find something much better.

The Leather Woody Laptop & Portfolio Bag that I purchased from Overstock.com is just what I wanted in a briefcase. The bag is roomy but not too big. It holds my office items in a neat and logical manner. The clasps are slightly awkward but I think its more me getting used to them than the other way around. Overall I would buy it again and I would definitely recommend it as a good buy.

My husband and I picked out this bag to be used as his work bag. We're returning this bag - it's not what we thought it would be: 1. The handle on the top is situated more in the back which makes the weight distributed unequally. 2. It is quite a fat bag - the width is larger than you think. 3.We didn't like the overall look. A little bit cheaper looking. We're just looking for a more traditional looking bag.

This is a really nice bag, seems to be well constructed, and unbeatable for the price. I am extremely happy with it. It's roomy without feeling bulky, well organized and very nice looking. The wide strap is extremely comfortable and really distributes the weight nicely. It's amazing how much ligher this feels than carrying my briefcase (which actually is ligher) filled with all of the same stuff.True, it's not easy to carry it in your hand by the handle - but it isn't really designed for that either. It's a messenger bag, first and foremost, not a briefcase. The handle simply adds ease of handling when getting in and out of the car, setting bag down at work, etc.

OK... so I wasn't sure when I bought the bag. When it arrived people were drooling over it and I almost didn't want to give it as the gift it was intended for. I just decided I had to have one so I am ordering today. It is roomy and has an extra wide strap that is tastefully done. It is not too masculine that a woman can't carry it but I think it is perfect for a man.

The bag feels unbalanced for carrying laptop by hand b/c of the attachment of the single handle to back side (not center) of bag. Would not recommend as a briefcase. Leather seems fine; looks as depicted on-line. Probably ok if you want carry your stuff using the long strap. Will return & buy different briefcase.

Gorgeous bag! I bought the burgundy one for my husband & he loves it. Probably better suited for a man's bag since it is rather large. It has removable laptop padding & tons of different compartments for books, memo pads, paperwork, etc. The strap is wide so it makes for easier carrying of heavy loads & the handle on top gives great options for carrying in tight spaces. This bag is a better value for the price when compared with the ones I was able to find in dept stores. Those were smaller and more expensive in comparison to this one.

For the price you can't beat it. Modern pipe stitching and durable leather. The only knock for me, is that the handle is kind of useless as it is lined on only one side of the bag, so if the bag is heavy and full, it will stress the handle and eventually break. However, it is a messenger style exactly. It would have been nice if that handle could have been centered, though. The strap more than makes up for that though, as it is made of both leather and tweed banding, which allows for style plus durability. The protective laptop sleeve is a great bonus! All in all, I highly recommend this bag, especially if you need space and style combined.

I liked this product and bought it as a college graduation present for my son. He, however, is going to return it because he did not care for the size of the laptop and its added pockets. Depending what one is looking for, this is an very good product and my service was excellent. I would try again another time.

I love the numerous pockets, roomy interior, and exterior pockets for holding a water bottle or cell phone. The wide shoulder strap is very comfortable, and the bag rests nicely on the hip. The bag has already received numerous compliments from colleagues and friends who are then shocked by the low price.

This is the 2nd messenger-style laptop bag I've purchased, and this bag is by far the better deal. Lots of pockets - some with zippers - gives you plenty of room to carry a few files, laptop (fits perfectly inside the provided padded sleeve), power supply, and the various things you need on-site - a security cable, pens, paper, sharpies, etc. The shoulder strap is nice and wide - it doesn't dig in to your shoulder blade when the bag is full. I've already received several compliments on the bag since I purchased it last month, and it is such a good value I'm going to buy one for my sister....

This is a great bag. There are pockets of varying sizes and about half have a zipper or button. The strap is easy to adjust. The leather is nice and durable so far. I have had the bag about a month and I have carried it to work and through many airports with ease and comfort. If I had to make a complaint, it would be that the strap is not detachable. This could have easily been $300 or $400.

I did a great deal of research for the "right" leather bag that would accommodate a lap top and the leather woody laptop bag fits all the requirements and looks cool to boot! Could not be happier or want more. Would recommend this bag to anyone who likes the look of leather and still wants to be hip! Thanks again Overtstock!

I got this laptop bag for my boyfriend for Christmas. It is a very nice bag, good quality leather. Note that there is WHITE accent stitching on the black bag. He liked it, but it is a less "smooth" look. The interior was roomy and more than enough room for his Mac powerbook in the sleeve and pocket. A very well-received gift and great value for the money!
