5 out of 5Great for Business Travel Too!, Jun 13, 2008
By markm59 from NJ
I travel regularly for business and for years used a regular briefcase, never again! This backpack is very well designed allowing quick & easy access to everything inside making going through airport security a breeze. The stand up feature works really well which ensures that my "stuff" stays in the bag instead of spilling out everywhere when I open it. It's even roomier then I expected, not only can I fit all my normal briefcase contents in it but I can add clothes and toiletries for an overnight trip which saves me from carrying a second bag. Also the "shock absorber" straps and breathable back design really work making this the most comfortable pack I have ever used, even in a suit. The only negative is that the chest strap is a little high with a tie and and you can't remove without cutting it off you don't want to use it. That one point aside this is a fantastic product that's as good or better then advertised.

I commute about 1.5 hours each way every weekday. I work during part of the commute and hit the gym before heading home. Now, I can fit my laptop, mouse, headphone (w/mic), charger, gym clothes, notebooks, water bottle, digital camera with extra batteries and mini-tripod + usb connector and a bunch of other little items into one bag. It fits me well, feels way lighter then my last bag and my back doesn't hurt one bit!
This is a strong, expandable bag well worth the cost.

I got this for my 16 year-old son for his school-issued laptop. He likes it because it looks like cool backpack instead of the nerdy attache/briefcase a lot of the kids got for their laptops.
He said lots of kids asked him where he got it so and "Was it expensive?" they must have liked it too. The price was great and the quality is excellent. Quite sturdy and the computer is safely stored in the middle section with lots of cushion.

The backpack is built with quality materials and it looks good. Unfortunately, It is too heavy and the shoulder straps are too wide, it makes my shoulder hurt. If you are a small people, this backpack is certainly not for you. The cross strap is also too high up with only limit adjustable space. It is kind of a shame to swissgear because they advertised their backpack with shock adsorb shoulder straps and I finally realized brand name does not mean a lot.

This is a very high-quality computer backpack.
Excellent design for ease of use...Just a simple but effective velcro flap for securing the laptop. No complex, multi-step process for getting the computer in or out. It also has more than enough padding to protect the computer. Nicely done, Wenger.
Plenty of compartment space for accessories, cable, external HD, etc....oh, and books too!
Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a backpack to handle it all and keep your laptop safe.
