This is a fine piece of luggage, however it is constructed of heavy materials. I bought it for its size, allowing me to bring more items in a 'one bag allowance' world of airline travel. Given that most airlines restrict baggage weight to 50 lbs., the weight of this piece limits the weight of the contents you can pack. (just paid 30 Euros for being over 6 kgs!!!
