Wanted it to replace my 15 month old grandson's diaper bag. Needed more room, something to transition into from a diaper bag, and something to be able to carry more necessities back and forth to daycare. The size of the diaper bag was no longer suitable. In the future, I will purchase again from Overstock.

My grandson will love this medium sized brightly colored kids rolling back pack plus lunch box.. The wheels are the only thing that I was a little disappointed with. They don't roll as easy as some of the luggage I have had. But all in all a very good buy.

I ordered this backpack for my 10 year-old son to use for school and he loves it! He loves the color and the lightening wheels. It has good pockets for pencil storage and the handle is comfortable for him to use. The silver parts on it are reflective, which is a bonus. I didn't expect that feature. I wish the material was a little more substantial, but it is still good enough quality for it to last the school year.I definitely recommend this backpack.

I bought this backpack for my son in 3rd Grade. He really like it. I just help my neighbor to order another one in pink ( different style but the same brand) for her daughter.

My girls both love these. We purchased them for an cross country airplane trip so they could wheel their own carry ons. This overall worked well, but they were not large enough to really carry all they needed without creating difficulty reaching in and pulling things out of the bag on the airplane. They work much better as everyday school bags and they LOVE the light up wheels and bright vibrant colors of the bags.

I bought this backpack for my 10 year old daughter, as her backpack was too heavy to carry. She loves it. She thought she might get teased over the light up wheels, however, other kids have complimented her on them. Its a nice packpack.

This backpack is fantastic. My 6-year old daughter got a number of Christmas presents, but this was by far her favorite. The backpack is extremely well made and should stand up to the abuse of an elementary school kid. The multi-colored lighting wheels are really cool and sets it apart from other backpacks. The handle adjusts to multiple heights which makes it easy for both me and my daughter to pull. As somebody else mentioned, the water-bottle holders are too small to take a standard bottle, but I view this as a trivial thing. There is plenty of room in the backpack to put the water bottle inside, and there are a number of loops on the back to attach a bottle with a hook.

My daughter loves this bag, it's for school so we haven't started using it yet. It looks exactly like the picture. The reason I gave 4 instead of five is that it feels heavy for a 6y/o,though she says it's not.

This backpack has all the things I was looking for: sturdy handle, large capacity, very smooth rolling, well designed with easy zippers and a tough rubber bottom. The light up wheels are a fun extra that the kids love. We bought two (purple and blue) - the colors are true to what you see online. Very happy with this purchase!

Ok so my son is brutal to rolling backpacks. It took him at least 8 months to ruin this one thanks to the rubber front bottom. Usually he ruins them in 3 months. He runs it up and down stairs and it rubs the fabric off the bottom front of most packs. The rubber on this one helped greatly. The lights on the wheels still worked at 8 months old. My son loved this pack but he ruined it dragging it around. If your kid is harsh on stuff, this isn't the pack for you. It's perfect size that my son could carry all his books. It's like a suitcase in size. Has great pocket organization inside. The handle still worked when I donated it to charity. Not sure they can use a holey backpack though. I've gone through 5 backpacks in 4 years with my boy. Now that he's in high school he doesn't want one that rolls so maybe this new one will last a lot longer since it's not on the ground so much. I'd definitely buy this cute one again if I have the need for a rolling backpack. The wheels lighting up was awesome! Kids always asked him where he got it from.

I purchased this item for my daughter who needed a rolling backpack. I researched many brands and polled other moms at school. This item is absolutely the best out there. The price was great and I purchased the extended warranty. It is full replacement. If it wears, it will be replaced with no hassle. It is amazingly durable and lighweight canvas. This rolls so smooth and quiet. The wheels light up, making it easy to see us in the crosswalk on dark mornings. Not to mention it looks cool from a kid standpoint. Endless comments and referrals. Because it is a Jansport product, I have no worries. Highly reccommend.

I am very impressed with the quality of the pull handle, zippers and wheels. My daughter loves it. Very useful pockets. The wheels have not lost their illumination yet, which makes my daughter the coolest kid in class. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with is the lunch bag. Since it doesn't have a full closing flap - the cold air from the coldpack escapes. So, it will not be used for daily lunches. But it is good for items that don't need to be kept cold or secure. I use it for quick trips in the car to contain quick snacks. All in all, I am very happy with the backpack.

This is a solid backpack with wheels. It is kind of pricy, however it is made very well. The flashing wheels are nifty, however you will probably never notice it. The handle works great. The bottom is very sturdy, which is good if you have little kids who like to drag the bottom along the ground. I think this one will last over a year. If we can get two years out of it for my 9 year old, I would be very happy.

It is a bright sky blue color as shown in the picture, very handsome for my 9 year old boy. It has been almost a month since I got him the backpack and he is loving it. It is pretty roomy to hold all his school supplies and a few extra toys he like to bring to school. It has been standing up well against the rough handling, rolling on sidewalk, rolling up and down stairs. As the bottom is rubber, I think it will last a long time. Will highly recommend to school kids.

Great school backpack for 8 years old thru high school and beyond perhaps. It's very pink, but a pretty pink; not neon. My 8 year-old daughter literally squeeled with delight when it arrived as a surprise. A month later out of the blue she said, "Ya know Dad, I love this backpack" . Wow! Good material, good construction, lightweight. Good looking with stylish integrated saftey reflectors, Handle is smooth, sturdy with 2 lock-in heights. Good design with plenty of room in three compartments. Lots of places to clip on stuff. Padded handle on top and in the middle of the face for quick grab-n-go. Big comfy padded shoulder straps for heavy loads, but which can be tucked away out of site if you aren't using them! Bottom is a solid plastic rubber material that shows no wear after the first month. Amazing! Wheels roll smooth. Colored lights were not considered in the purchase, but turned out to be bright and pretty cool. J world is the kid division of Jansport which I now know makes quality stuff. The bag MSRP's for $80 and is worth it. I'm sure it is much less here, so grab it. I'm confident we will be using this for school again next year. You will not be dissappointed!!! This is the best online purchase I have made in recent memory. And thanks to "O" I used standard shipping and got it in 48 hours (I must be near a shipping depot, so no guarantees). We are very, very happy all the way around! I wish I could say that more often these days.

I ordered 2 backpacks. They are roomy and can hold a lot of textbooks and other school necessities. The materials are heavy duty and we have had no ripping problems. The packs have an extendable handle which is thick, unlike others we have tried in the past. It has held up to less than gentle children extending it and retracting it again. The webbed pockets on either side of the pack are very useful for holding bottled water and keeping the items inside the pack dry. WE love the bottom of the pack which has a rubber base which keeps the cloth from being scuffed when the pack is dragged in the wrong direction. It also helps keep the packs upright when standing. And the wheels light up as the pack is rolled along. Kids love this! So far this pack has impressed me with its durability as compared to many we have tried in the past. I usually have to get 3 packs a year to get through one school year. It looks like we may get a full year and then some out of this one. I would recommend it.

My daughter loves the back pack! It has pockets that open fully making it super easy to pack. The kids at school all think the lighted wheels are the coolest. The rubber bottom is a fantastic idea -- other styles always get holes in the fabric on the bottom corners.
