I purchased this for my 10 year old grand daughter. She choose the pink rolling backpack and couldn't wait to use it. She loaded it up with text books, a very large binder, note pads, etc. It has many compartments one of which is specifically for pens, pencils, etc. One compartment can fit a laptop. It also has two holders for bottled water, one on each side. It's good quality, functional, the handle is adjustable, the wheels roll very smoothly and the bottom is constructed of a hard material which will help it to hold up well. I sprayed the body of the backpack with a fabric protector to help repeal dirt and protect it in rainy weather. My grand daughter loves it. Her friends at school want one, too!

This is the 2nd J World Backpack I have purchased for my kids. This Backpack holds all her books and her laptop is protected when she's strolling to school. From the easy release handle to the ease of wheels in maneuvering the back to the purchase price this has been an all around great buy. Also, her friends at school are now telling their Mom's about J World and several have ordered this one as well.

I bought this bag to carry my books and laptop for school, whereas I have lower back problems and a shoulder problem that made carrying a regular bookbag on my back very painful. There are so many compartments to put things, the straps look very comfy if I ever do have to carry the bag on my back. I love the print and color as well which is why I made the initial purchase.

I bought this rolling backpack for my granddaughter's 10th birthday and she absolutely loved it! I bought it for the extra sturdy bottom because she can be hard on her things and the amount of space it had for her to pack all her school stuff in it. We love this backpack! There is lots of room for everything. Especially like the well-padded section for my daughter's laptop. Lots of pockets for storage. Rolls quietly and smoothly. 'Feels' sturdy. My 11 year old found this backpack on here. She wanted a wheeled backpack, preferably with one that fits her laptop since she may have the need to bring that to school next year when she is in middle school. The laptop compartment is between the smallest outer compartment and largest compartment, so it will not only have the built in padding but that of whatever is in the other compartments. It fits her very large binder along with all her other supplies with room to spare. She is rough on it when wheeling it around, and nothing has loosened or been damaged yet in these first few weeks of use. The arm extends to a very good height for her to wheel it around; she doesn't have to stoop down to wheel it (and she is almost 5 feet tall). The arm is very sturdy as are the wheels. It rolls fairly smoothly, considering everything she shoves in it! Got the pink one on sale when the same exact one in blue was $15 more, not quite sure why. She was looking for pink anyway. I expect this to at least last this school year and next. Anything after that would be a bonus!

Bought this backpack for 4th grade, and it lasted thru middle of 6th grade when the handle broke off. But for the time we had it, it took a beating and endured! Prior to finding this backpack, we had to get a new backpack every year. Was thrilled that this made it thru 2.5 yrs of being kicked around, thrown around, and enduring the beat-down on the playground! I'd order one again, but my daughter doesn't want the rolling pack this time around. I got a different brand and the strap broke off and got a big hole in the bottom within the first 2 weeks of use. I should have gotten a J World backpack!

My daughter absolutely loves her new backpack. It is very well made and sturdy. The backpack has enough compartments and pockets for her to be able to separate her school supplies accordingly. Her large binders fit in effortlessly. The wheels give her the option of rolling it when it gets too heavy for her to carry. We are very happy with our purchase and expect it to last us for a long while.

I got this as a commuting bag for work. I carry quite a bit of paperwork back and forth that I thought a rolling bag would cut down on back strain. This a great roomy bag, well built, good wheels and sturdy handle. Only problem is all of that makes the bag itself a bit heavy. Once you fill it with all your stuff it weighs a ton, and even though it's meant to be rolled along, eventually you're going to have to carry it up the stairs to a building, or heave it in and out of the car, and the bag itself adds sooooo much weight, I found it just as easy to go back to a regular shoulder bag. It's in the closet now, but I'm sure we'll end up using it as a travel bag for my daughter. As I said it is a really good bag, just don't over fill it with heavy stuff.

purchased this rolling backpack for a 12 year old girl. she loves it! she plans to use it this summer for a vacation bad & for school later in the fall. the quality was as expected.

I bought this for my daughter for school. The pull handle and wheels are both sturdy and the handle raises and lowers easily. Construction seems sturdy and there are plenty of pockets and slots. The formed plastic bottom helps keep things books and papers from crunching around too much, but does make it a slightly tighter squeeze in small places; however it fits in the locker fine. The mesh pockets on the side are (I assume) theoretically for water bottles; but they are not tall enough and a tall/adult size water bottle tends to slip out. My daughter therefore puts her water bottle inside so she doesn't lose it. This is the reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 starts. However, we've had water bottle pocket problems with every backpack we've ever had, so I'm not overly surprised or disappointed. I expect this to work for several years until it's filthy. After four weeks of school it still looks pristine.. For the price, it's worth the money.

The backpack while only in use for 1 week of school looks like good quality. Good size, big enough to hold some books and the handle is sturdy.

It was exciting when it came... loved the color inside, liked all the pockets, and the fabric is nice. It is for my 9 year old daughter to use at school. Has a pink handl which looked cool... She likes it -- but it just won't stand up. you can't use all hte pockets. If you put anything at all in the front or anything heavy in the lap top middle area - it won't stand up and falls over. ... basically you can't use it very well because you are constantly picking it up. I don't know if this one in particular is flawed at the bottom and that is why it's not standing up...but it's disappointing, because other wise it's really cool. We may have to send it back and get another one. Ordering from Overstock seemed easy and it arrived when they said it would.
