This bag suffers from a problem common to most soft bags with retractable handles. The retractable rods for the handles are hollow and not particularly strong. First time I used this bag, the rods were bend by airplane baggage handlers. The handle would no longer retract and stuck out several inches beyond the top of the bag. Nice bag if you don't plan to check it on an airline - but if you plan to fly, pick another option.

The bag was purchase for my son's cross country teen tour. The tour recommended a High Sierra duffel but I thought I'd geT a good product through O. I was extremely disappointed in how this bag held up. When my son returned after 40 days the inside dividing liner was torn. The side pocket zippers were broken. The main zipper barely worked. There were numerous rips at the seams. The bag could not withstand one tour! I am now questioning O's choice of suppliers. I should get my money back.

Well made, good price, just what we wanted to haul a lot of stuff.
The J Worlds 30 inch rolling duffle really fit the bill for our family vacation to Disneyland. Considering the airlines charge for each piece of checked luggage and that we'd wind up carrying the kid's bags anyway, consolidating to a high capacity bag certainly worked out well. The 6500 cubic inches of duffle (outside dimension) held the packings of a family of 4 for 4 days/3 nights (mostly t-shirts shorts and hoodies plus essentials). The bag has two compartments opening like a clamshell and made of sturdy material, a beefy coil zipper, smooth rolling wheels and a retractable handle that didn't bind up when packed tight inside. Rollers are very smooth and spaced wide enough to resist overturning when rolling over a curb. The only issue is that the duffle would not stand up on end; not a big complaint, after all its a duffle not a hardside, just lay it flat or lean it up against a wall. Shape and bright blue color was easy to spot among a sea of black rollies at the baggage claim. Very pleased with the duffle and speed and communications of Overstock's service
I bought this as a gift and my nephew likes it a lot. He took it on a recent cruise and said it was the only bag he needed,. Holds a lot, is easy to maneuver, and is sturdy.

My husband bought this for himself. We do a lot of traveling via the car. He likes duffles, and I like a suitcase. When he received this I was so impressed, I purchased a second one. I especially liked the zippered bottom section to put all my shoes in. He was very happy to retire my suitcase. We fit more in the car, and it takes up less room in the hotels we stay at.

Bag is as pictured - seems durable and attractive. Ordered as a gift and recipient was very pleased. Straps perhaps a little long for use as hand straps but they are long enough to sling over shoulder.
My husband uses this for officiating and he is very particular. He loves this bag because it holds quite a bit of athletic gear which is quite bulky. The wheels make transport easy as the bag bcomes quite heavy with all his gear. He is very fussy and this bag passes the test.
The rolling duffle worked excellent for going to Haiti. Very easy to pull through the airport and able to pack to the fullest capcity. The ship time was within a few days. Great!
Perfect size for 50 pounds of stuff. Used three of these bags on a ski trip to CO. They held up fine and should be good for a number of future trips...
I bought this duffle to travel to South Africa on a fishing trip. When I first started packing I had grave doubts whether it was going to be strong enough to withstand a long haul flight. I would have liked the bottom compartment to have been stronger, more rigid but it worked and I liked the retaining straps. I liked the separate end compartment, useful for damp or soiled articles. I only packed soft items in the main compartment, it has a large capacity. The retaining straps attached to the carry handles at the back of the bag pull through their keepers and needed stitching in place to be of use. I don't know what use the elastic cord on top of the bag has, decorative only I would think, they got in the way rather. All in all it worked well in spite of my fears and survived the journey.
It's cheap, light and has multiple compartments. Great for a second check-in bag. That said, there are limitations: There is no padding and no sturdy dividers at all. It's fine for a bunch of clothes but I would not put anything electronic, bulky, heavy or valuable in this bag as it will get crushed. Some duffel bags have more canvas-like material which offers some protection -- this one is more like a series of windbreaker material over a frame with many zippers. It will not stand up on end like most rolling suitcases-- you can telescope the handle and pull it on the rollers but if you have to stop and let go, it will fall forward. This is the tradeoff for being able to carry it like a regular bag with a strap over your shoulder. I like the overall design and it was perfect for going to Mexico as we could put all of our clothes, towels etc and easily roll it along since we had another sturdier suitcase for books, electronics, shoes etc. If it was my only bag and I need to carry bottles, presents or anything breakable, it would not do.
Not bad! Had it in CA for 2 weeks. Seemed to pack well and expand. The bottom compartment is better than I predicted it to be. When I ordered it, I was concerned about durability. It seems to have held up under two jet flights so far, however it did get some dark scuffs on it. Thankfully, I got the red and black color combination. Overall, I would say this is a good product and a good value.
Everything it was advertised to be. I'd order it again.
