I had bought a cheap backpack and it turned out to be expensive, i.e. it began to fall apart fairly early and it was clear I'd need to spend more money on a new one. This time I decided to hone in on a brand I know, High Sierra, and the range of prices, colors and sizes was ample. I was able to order one that seemed to suit my needs - and indeed, this one does. It's very durable and has lots of different storage spaces. A great buy!

• How accurate was the sizing? I needed a lot of space and compartments and it has both.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. I use a larger High Sierra backpack for overseas travels and I know the quality is very high. This one is also very wellmade - nice-looking, comfotable, well-engineered.
• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? As far as I can tell there are no defects, and I've used it for a while already.

Purchased this bag to carry miscellaneous items while snow skiing in the Rockies. It is well constructed and will work for the intended job. It is definitely not a child's bag, since if loaded would be too heavy for a gradeschooler. One pocket will hold a large laptop in a cushioned enclosure.
