I got the Xcase Snake Print, which looks nicer in reality than in the picture. I also own an earlier model (1 year ago) of the same carry-on and it has held up very nicely even with all the international travel I do. The new one, Snake Print, appears to have improved wheels - slightly larger and sturdier "tires". It also has a lock on the side which the old one did not. I dont' know how useful this is since the point of a carry-on is that you bring it with you at all times. I don't think this bag would hold up well for checking in, but then again it is small enough that you shouldn't have to. I have always been allowed to bring the old one onboard, even in Europe where planes are smaller and check-in agents think they are put on earth to discipline their paying travelers.
This is a very light, lovely carry on case. Its only problem is that it does not roll very smoothly. We improved things by oiling the wheels, but this should not be necessary.
Today I received my 20' carry on in the snake pattern. It's gorgeous!!! I immediately ordered the cosmetic carry on case because I can fit my netbook in it and utilize it as my purse when traveling. I need luggage that is light weight due to artrithis. When I picked up the box from the front door, I thought , NO WAY!!! It was just as light weighted as my netbook. I would love to order a larger suitcase but I don't need two? If you ever decide to sell the larger suitcases separately, please e-mail me.Also, the inside of the suitcase needs to be displayed. The lining is gorgeous!!!! I must sign off for now-I'm still shopping.
Like the suitcase enough that I wanted to purchase a larger size only to learn it was not available. It would have been nice to have had a matching piece.
