I like the bag as it holds a good amount of clothing Issues the clasp that you hang your clothes on inside the bag is very cheap and the locking clip falls off. It is made of cheap plastic a great improvement would to make it out of a metal with solid clipping mechanism. I was only hanging 1 suit and a shirt. For this alone I would not purchase this bag again

Overall not a bad price for a leather garment bag, but I've seen other Royce Leather products (and felt them), and this leather is not as nice - has more of a plastic-y feel to it. Perhaps it will soften up with use.

This rolling garment bag is perfect for our needs when we take short trips. Until now, on short trips, I would just carry hang up clothing under a plastic bag from a department store. This garment bag will eliminate doing that. The irony is that it comes close to the color of other pieces of luggage that I have from a different manufacturer. My husband and I are delighted with this piece of luggage. It was a fantastic buy in our opinion. FYI: We have not traveled with it yet and time will tell how it holds up.

You really do get what you pay for. I didn't pay much for this carry-on bag so you can imagine the quality. I REALLY wish i would have looked a little more closely when I purchased this. I didn't notice the "Man-made" Leather in the description. I know, I know, why else would it have been so cheap....However my complaint is with more than just the nagahyde beast this thing was made from. I can't imagine it will give much more support and prevent wrinkling than just covering hanging garments with a plastic trash bag. This bag has less structure than my previous garment bags (and what I imagined when looking at the pic and reading the description) and that makes me sad. However, I didn't pay much and will have gotten my money's worth if it holds up for a couple trips.

Given the price point (you're obviously going to get much better quality from far more-expensive items), this works. I was looking for a fairly cheap garment bag for suits that I could carry on the plane. This did the job well. It would be nice if it had a dedicated shoe pocket, but there's an area that suffices. The suits/shirts made it through the trips with only a little wrinkling, although I'm sure that's the case for any folding garment bag (I recommend using plastic dry-cleaning bags over each hanging item). The biggest negative is the lack of built-in hanger. If you want to hang the bag, you have to unzip and use your clothes hanger(s). Overall, definitely worth it for the price if you're not going to use it every month and put a lot of wear and tear on it.

I bought this for my son, who will be travelling abroad extensively. The item was the perfect size and very sturdy. The only complaint was that the retractable pull bar was made of plastic, rather than steel, which may present some durability issues down the road with time. However, this is a great travel garment bag for the money. Light and sturdy with lots of room for accessories and extra clothes.

The bad: I received the product and upon opening it, I was disappointed to find that the plastic tab that closes over the hanger hooks was broken. I elected not to go to the trouble of returning/exchanging it due to the hassle of returning a bulk item and then waiting for a replacement to arrive. In retrospect, perhaps I should have though since it obviously bothers me that I received a defective (albeit a minor defect) product. The good: Overall appearance is very nice. I will say that it has a more pronounced pebble grain than I would have preferred, but the price was excellent for a leather garment bag. The buckles and hardware are a nice updated brushed nickel look and appear to be sturdy. If you are looking for a leather garment bag that doesn't break the bank, you will most likely be satisfied with this one. If I had to do it again, I would still purchase this one; however, I would exchange it if i found any defects.

I was looking for a bag for short business trips around the state and most of what I found in stores were behemoths for extended travel of 3 days or more. I know I needed a garment bag on wheels that I could get in and out of the car or plane and wheel along the wet pavement in this climate. The bag appears in the phote to hold more than it is capable and does not fold out into halves as it would seem for a garment bag. For someone needing to pack expensive suits, this may not adequately serve that purpose. My dress is business casual and the inner hangars will fit slacks. Shirts for bigger men like me are somewhat challenging and best to leave on dry cleaner hanger and plastic if possible. It is not very roomy for more than 3 heavy sweaters because it is only one comparment not two. If your travel requires more than a few days, look for a bigger bag. For me, it is what I needed.

Bought this Garment Bag for use by my son. On second use the Plastic hook to attach Suits etc snapped with only one suit Jacket one pair of Trousers and a shirt on it. I had purchased the additional 2 year Protection Warranty but was told we could not use this because the Manufacturers Warranty was still in effect as it broke in less than 90 days. Contacted the manufacturer and got a machine and too long a hold time. I would not buy this product again and I am just very glad I purchased it with my American Express. They actually understand the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Only drawback is the strong "plastic" odor--even after airing for almost a month!

I needed a bag to carry my referee clothes. It is just the right size for a 1 day assignment. I was concerned the leather would be "plastic-y" but it looks and feels great. Cold weather has not arrived Montana, yet so I'm not sure if the "leather" will hold up and not crack.

It's durable and large enough to hold 4 mens suits and two womens jackets. I'd be careful with some of the plastic parts but that's the way most things are. You cant beat it for the price.

I returned this item. I realized I should have looked at the photo more closely. I needed a bag I could hang clothes in and keep them hanging flat for short overnight car trips. Due to the pockets on the side of this bag that stick out like wings (see photo) you really need to fold it to close it wrinkling the clothes. Here's my best travel-tip ever: clothes you put into dry cleaning plastic film will NOT WRINKLE when packed in a suitcase. It is amazing. well worth the trouble to pack everything in dry cleaning plastic when traveling. just fold the item in half and lay it in, then you can put another item down between that film, and the next item put in more plastic film. It works so well, you can bring stuff home you didn't wear and put it right back into the closet. Dry cleaners will give you plastic if you ask, I save mine for traveling. Happy travels!

Used this bag once so far and it's performed perfectly. The clip to hold hangers accommodates various sizes of hangers, though the big plastic ones don't fit. However, we packed a suit, a pair of pants, 2 men's shirts, 2 of my wife's dresses, shoes, socks and other accessories with plenty of room to spare. Arrived at our destination wrinkle-free!

Serves our purpose as we travel mostly by car. Don't know how well it would take airline abuse. It's not top quality leather, but looks good, smells like leather and serves my purpose. I wanted something more durable than cloth or plastic for shorter excursions. This fits the bill and looks nice too. I chose the lighter color as it blends with my leather purses and as an addition to my other luggage, if needed. I'm pleased with it!

We ordered these bags for our wedding - first one for the Groom and then decided to order 8 more for Groomsmen gifts. They are terrific quality; good large size and all arrived in good shape. We also had them embroidered at the top of the front zipper pocket. The leather does not necessarily look like real, supple, Napa leather - but they are good quality. They do have a slight plastic-like smell when they first arrive in the box, but hang them out for a day or two and they are just fine. I would definitely recommend this product, can't beat what you get for the price!

Unfortunately, I bought this some time ago, and never used it until last week, so it was too late to return. I took a business trip via plane and when I got to the airport, the handle stuck halfway open and wouldn't go down. Finally they checked it away. Then, when I arrived, the cab driver tried to pull it up and it broke in his hand...right through the plastic. I wish I had had occasion to use it earlier so it could have been returned. I guess it doesn't work to get luggage online.

Although it's a no frills bag, it does get the job done. At first I thought it wasn't going to be very durable, due to the very light weight nylon used on the inside. I had no problems with it after use though. I was able to fit a complete suit, an extra pair of pants, four shirts, two pairs of shorts, two pairs of swim trunks, and two books. I probably could have put in a few more shirts, but I was nearing capacity. A review I read on this bag complained of a broken D-ring on it's first use. I had no problems with this, and I think that reviewer over stuffed their bag. However, I did have a few issues with the strap that connects the plastic clasp coming loose due to over tension. All in all, you get more than what you pay for with this bag.
