THE STAND IS A PIECE OF WIRE WITH PLASTIC AROUND IT. THIS BAG NEVER LEFT ME SO I CAN`T BLAME BAGGAGE HANDLERS. I BROKE THE WIRE GETTING IT IN MY CAR AND THE PLASTIC FEET GETTING IT TO THE HOTEL. BUT NOW WITH ALL THAT OUT OF THE WAY. THE BAG WILL STAND ON END WITHOUT TIPPING OVER
I loved having a variety of sizes in the set, including a bag that was carry on size. The material the bag is made of seems to be sturdy and durable. The handle that extends out the extra length is one of my favorite features of the bag. It makes it a lot easier to travel with.
We normally travel with just our carry-on bags, but we needed a large suitcase for a long trip, I purchased this set, even though it's way more than we needed, because it was such a great value. Using an Overstock coupon, I got all four pieces for way less than I would have had to pay for a single large bag. They're not the latest spinners, and they're not super lightweight, either, but they are well-constructed and will do the job.
Set held up well during use on a crusie. I recevied complimetns. The drs bad is HUGE. It could use wheels. Nice, unexpected peiace though. I don't expect the set to last ten years. However, I probably wouldnt want it that long anyway. Average quality.
Purchased for our grandsons graduation, He was pleased and will be using this to go off to college.
