This bag was just what we were looking for, sturdy heavy duty and with enough room to fit several text books as well as my daughter's binder. Great quality and durable zippers and closures. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family. Thanks for the quality merchandise at great prices!

The only issue I have is that the side water bottle holders only accomadate small bottles. Otherwise very functional as a work knapsack.

I am pleased with my purchase. The side pocket fits a small water bottle. I do not own a hydration system but it accommodates it.

The first time I used the zipper on the side pocket, it broke. Got a replacement. Second bag had another problem: strings breaking. This product is total crap.

I fit it to my body and took it to the store. It is very comfortable and held moe than I thought. There was still extra room. I like the little back and side zippered storage for the small things.

I purchased this backpack to carry around on a stroller during an amusement park vacation. This fits our needs perfectly. A pocket for everything and the straps are nicely adjustable. I will say that there were some quality control issues with the seams on the side buckles. there were strings hanging from the side and two pieces were lightly sewn together that should not have been. A seam ripper and scissors and everything was fine. For the price, this didn't bother me.

The zipper to my son's last backpack didn't make it 1 year so I was very pleased with the fact that this backpack has side clips to prevent another incident. It's light weight but very roomy and my son and I love it.

Decent backpack for the price and pretty much what I expected but not perfect. The first thing I had to do what to cut off the waist belt clip and the four clips on the sides of the backpack. They only get in the way and prevent me from using the side pockets for my umbrella and coffee cup. I cut them off at their base and then sealed the ends by using a lighter to keep them from fraying. Backpack is light weight and seems durable and has plenty of space inside of all the stuff I carry around. The zippers are not the best but so far seem to work fine. Not as bad as some reviews made them out to be. For an inexpensive backpack that will hold a lot of stuff...with a few tweeks I would recommend it.

Its an okay backpack. It is light weight, good padding, and spacious for only two compartment zippers. Space to place your laptop. Gets dirty fast and some sems/threading coming out, only been using it for two weeks so far. I'm in college and I carry a lot of things. There are zippers on each side, when my zipper wouldn't work, its convenient to have one on the other side. When I walk with it it makes a swooshing sound from the netted padding lol. I like it. For the price, style, and space, its a good deal

I bought this backpack for my husband for our upcoming Disney trip. It is great. We could fit everything. We liked the water bottle holders on the sides and the small front pocket for personal items. The big pocket has a spot for a laptop, we kept our camcorder in there for safe keeping through out the day.I know we will get lots of great use out of the backpack in the future as well.

This backpack is larger than I expected, fits a 20" laptop easy. 5 smaller pockets total, 3 front and 2 on the sides. Carries everything from books, extra clothing, toiletries and a laptop. I travel allot for work and there is a nice inside pocket for my passport and other identification. Straps are comfortable.

LOVE the number and variety of pockets on this backpack, although one on the inside section of the bag would be nice. BUT the zippers, esp the ones on the side pocket and the front pockets, tend to get stuck and are not smooth. We use this as a diaper bag for our 2 year old, as we wanted more room and pockets than the backpack/diaper bag we had been using. NOT FOR EVERYDAY USE, in my opinion. But it works for what we need it to, for now. I don't think it'll be one of those "can you believe this bag has lasted all these years" bags.

My 5th grade daughter loves the green! I loved the price, but even more so, upon arrival, I loved the quality! Zippers are strong and sturdy! The bag expands for added room, which my daughter loves that her lunch bag fits in her backpack this year! And her water bottle actually fits in the side pocket! She used a sling bag last year and complained of shoulder pain from time to time. The padding on these straps are very comfortable and allow her to adjust it for proper placement on her back! Great purchase!!

This is a nice, simple, small backpack. My first grader is using it for school. It fits him well, and it holds the things he needs to carry (lunch, papers, homework folder.) It would be a fine small pack for me as well. It has no bells or whistles, The material is heavy enough to last at least through the school year (hopefully longer, but he wore through two (different) bags last year so I'm not holding my breath) and the seams are well-stitched. The front pocket is on the small side, if I were using it myself that would bother me, but it's fine for my son. It was exactly what I was looking for, we're both very happy with it.

I bought this pack to be used as a 72 hour emergency pack for my wife. She had been using a nylon duffle but had a hard time carrying it. We selected this pack because it appeared to be light weight, water resistant with outside pockets. The sholder straps are adjustable and the waist and chest straps help to stablize the sholder straps. I would like to see about 4-5 more small out side pockets. This pack is stored in the trunck of oour car for emergency use.

I first starting using the “CALPAK Spider” backpack as a handy down from my son; off course he needed a new backpack for every school year. I have used it now for four years on my 100 mile per day motorcycle ride to work and back. I ripped the side after getting it caught on an object in my garage, and after looking at many other styles to replace it with, I finally decided to go ahead and repurchase the same bag. It is light weight, durable, and the compartments have met my needs very well. The number one seller for me, because of my motorcycle use, was the airflow technology and the padding it provides while resting on my back. A great purchase for the price, and I believe if you want better, you will need to spend twice as much.

I bought this backpack to use as a travel bag and diaper bag for a 2 hour flight and vacation. It was very roomy and worked well as my carry-on "entertainment" center for my 4.5 year old and bottle/diaper bag for my 5 month old. Magazines, a changing pad and extra clothes for both kids fit in the main part and the front pocket was sufficient for iPod Touch, phone, and wallet. Side mesh pockets were nice for carrying bottles. My biggest drawback was the color I received. I ordered Wasabi Green, which looked like a bright, light green and received a bag clearly labeled "Olive". It was definitely drab, browny olive and not wasabi. Not a big enough deal to complain or return it, since I needed it for our trip, but it still bugs me.

We froze Capri Suns and Cokes in the freezer the night before, placed them in the back pack in the insulated part at 5:30 a.m. at 6:00 p.m. the drinks still had ice in them. Really kept cold/cold. The backpack has many pockets, appropriately sized, and all zippers can be closed on either side or the top, for your convience. I really love the back pack. But let me just say, so as not to mislead anyone. The Backpack was in the trunk of the car from 5:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., then on the train from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., then my husband carried it around outside from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., then back on the train and stayed there until 6:00 p.m. This was in N. FL and S. GA in April. Still, I was impressed.

Overall, this is a great backpack. Especially for the price I got it! Everywhere else I looked I would've had to pay over $XX to get anything decent. The material is really thick and the handle on top is stronger and easier on your hands than most backpacks, even XXXXXXXX. I like that it has two bigger pockets, but the one with the organizer will pretty much only hold pencils or smaller stuff. I put a small bottle of lotion in it and the organizer pocket kind of bulges if I have books in the other two. If you have any laptop bigger than 15.6" I really don't think it would fit because mine is 15.6" and I have to shove it in. This doesn't take away from the usefulness at all though, so don't let that deter you. I like that it has hooks where to clip keys or other stuff on the straps. The pockets on the side will fit most water bottles, but if you have something more the size of a standard Nalgene I don't think it would fit. Straps and back are padded really well. If you're worried about it being a duller blue than the picture, it's not. Bottom line, great backpack. Especially for only $XX.
Travel backpacks offer a number of benefits for all types of travelers and may be an attractive alternative to larger tote bags, duffel bags and miniature suitcases. Whether you're traveling with a backpack over a long distance or traveling by plane with a small backpack as a carry-on, use a travel backpack designed with extra compartments and tight-fitting, portable style to ensure a comfortable travel experience. Easy to stow and store: The design of a travel backpack makes it easy to store it in overhead bins in a bus, train or airplane. The soft sides of a backpack let it conform to tight storage spaces. Many travel backpacks have compression straps that let you cinch the packs contents down to take up less space. Comfort: Travel backpacks put less strain on your body than most other kinds of luggage because their weight doesn't pull on one side of your body. Travel backpacks are designed to evenly distribute their load on your shoulders and hips, making them easy to carry for several hours. Thick straps with lots of padding make it even more comfortable. Keeps travelers organized: Many travel backpacks are designed with several compartments to store smaller items, such as water bottles, a cell phone, MP3 player, PDA, passport and subway tokens. This makes it easier to stay organized while traveling, ensuring that all your basic items and accessories are within easy reach. Easy to move around: Probably the biggest benefit of using a travel backpack is the ease of movement it provides. You don't have to worry about dragging a rolling suitcase up a flight of stairs. A travel backpack is also easier to maneuver through a crowd of people than most other types of luggage. Protects items from the elements: Many travel backpacks are made with water-resistant and waterproof fabrics that protect your valuables no matter what the weather forecast may look like. Travel backpacks made with polywick fabric, ballistic nylon and other weatherproofing materials are especially beneficial for travelers who will be outdoors for most of their trip.
