  I got this for my granddaughter for her birthday. I did not see it until I went to visit and was surprised at the size. she can use it for her athletic the competitions, but not much else. it is too small for school books. it is a very plain looking backpack. the material is not the highest quality but my granddaughter expect to get a lot of use out of it

  I purchased this backpack for my 9-yr old daughter for 3rd grade. After 2 months the seams began tearing and within another month they were completely separated. After several attempts to contact Calpak for a replacement pack (I was not able to locate their phone #) I finally got a response. In order to get a replacement I had to pay a fee plus shipping, had to submit pictures, cut apart a large portion of the defective backpack and send it in (yes, another shipping cost). After another month, we received the replacement pack and within another month it to ripped (huge hole in a section that barely gets used). 3rd graders don't bring home that many books... Once again I contacted the company and they said/emailed too bad... you're out of luck. I will never again purchase another bag from CalPak. I can get over the poor quality, but not the poor customer service. I have never taken the time to write a review before, but I am now... hopefully you find this helpful!

  My daughter and i browsed many website before she liked this bag. She loved the red one. I have just received the bag and it looks nothing like the image. The bag is a dull maroon with gray as opposed to vibrant red and white. She hates it!!! Its deceptive color correction to make the bags look better than they are. Very Disappointed!!

  My daughter had a problem with bookbags not being able to hold everything and if it did it would ripe or zipper would burst. This is the toughest book bag I have purchased ever. She is getting tired of the same book bag now - usually they don't last this long. I was very pleased with this purchase and plan to purchase anonter one for next school year.

  I ordered this bag for my 9th grade son. He not only uses it for his school books but it has room for his after school tennis gear as well! Great bag for the money. Better than I expected!
