OK for light travelling but not a beefy bag

These bags weigh more than similar high-end bags and are of poorer quality. If you are planning a trip with some abuse to your luggage and don't want a broken strap a week into your month-long travels, I would pick a different bag. Probably fine for regular airline/car travel. I was looking at resistant bags and ended up with Mountain Hardware (water-resistant ) and Osprey (not water-resistant) duffels. North-Face also makes a good one. Sent the Red Canyon duffels back.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Material was thinner than I expected. The straps were stitched well but not reinforced. The zippers were of marginal quality.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? There was a small spot on one bag where the plastic coating was rubbed off.
