I sent the bag to a friend, so I did not see it. She said that the the shoulder strap was not long enough for her to wear it on her shoulder across her chest. (She is a big girl.) She said that she could use it as a fanny pack which surprised me.I was not able to mail it to a post office box, so I had to mail it to her house. Fortunately, she was home and was able to get it before anyone could steal it. It arrived in a timely fashion. Price and postage were very reasonable.

I wanted something lightweight to carry around instead of a backpack or briefcase. This fits the bill in that I can fit pens and other things in the outer zipper pocket and I can fit my kindle, a small notebook, and a magazine in the main compartment. I have seen something similar that is a little bigger, that can fit a magazine without having to fold it. That's my only complaint with this bag. You have to fold magazines or 8.5x11 sheets of paper.

Just a nice size bag to carry all sorts, including a medium size bible, notebook, pen etc. Only problem with this product were the shipping costs - check them out before ordering

I bought this small messenger bag to transport my Kindle - I found a recommendation for it somewhere online! I love it! Since I carry it traveling on airlines, I put the Kindle in a padded sleeve for added protection, and the bag is large enough to hold it, a small wallet, passport, travel itinerary, and boarding passes - with still room to spare. The added shoulder strap is wonderful. The drawback that I've found is that the fasteners were only stitched to the flimsy lining under the closure flap. So I took the bag to the shoemaker and had the fasteners stitched through the entire closure flap! GREAT! Now it is extremely strong with no danger of ripping loose. I HIGHLY recommend doing that. I've since bought TWO more of these totes - one for my daughter's new Kindle and a backup for my own when I wear out this one! I did a lot of research to find the best bag for this purpose, and be lieve me when I say, I outdid the Best! This is the GREATEST!

I got this bag to put my bible and books in and it is perfect. I suppose you could use it for other small books or for a school book. Nice material with functional areas to put items.
