Coleman- Lightweight 4pc Travel Collection

We purchased this luggage for a family trip to DC from California. The luggage went through two airports each way and returned home with NO issues what so ever. I have since taken the luggage on two additional trips, both cross country with extreme ease. The luggage rolls quite easily on its wheels, with no sticking or pieces following off. I have owed many different pieces of luggage, and so far, these are the best. I travel almost monthly, so if these last me at least two years I will be happy, though as much as I travel, none have lasted that long yet. The luggage stands at an angle while left alone, and makes it easy to grab and go. The compartments are deep, and easily held clothes for a family of four. They are still clean, with minor scuffs from handle through the airport,, but nothing serious. Zippers are all still in tact, I would highly recommend.

Well when I first received the luggage set I was very excited. It's so nice and have so many compartments inside each rolling piece. However, I used it for the first time and when it came off the baggage claim luggage belt my wheel was broken. I was very disappointed. The airline would not do anything about it and so now I'm stuck with a broken wheel on one of the pieces. I don't know if the others would do the same if I was to take it on a flight. I wish I could send it all back but I'm not very satisfied with the return policy. I think this may be the last thing I order from this site. Thought I got a great deal but, eh.

We purchased this luggage set for an 8 day trip to Cancun...but I wanted to wait until we actually used the luggage before reviewing it. Well, we just got back today and I have to say we were very pleased with our purchase. First, it rolls nicely and didn't ever have a tendency to flip over on it's side when pulling it, as some luggage is want to do. Plus it handled the rigors of travel and looked good doing so. We ordered the black set and it was very easy to identify on the luggage carousel due to the gray trim and unusual wheels. And the light weight of the luggage came in very handy, especially the way I pack! I packed the largest piece for my husband's clothes and that included 4 pairs of dress pants, 8 dress shirts, 2 pairs of shoes, an assortment of shorts & T-shirts, etc., not to mention BOTH of our toiletries which can weigh a ton! All of that and it only came to 49 lbs. The next size down was packed with my clothes and things and it only weighed 37.5 lbs. We also used the tote which is a little too large, in that it became a black hole when we were looking inside of it for different things. I wished that the luggage had a nicer liner and that there were I.D. holders on the outside of the bags...but for the price you just can't beat this luggage.

I always buy 'disposable' luggage and never invest much money into my luggage. That's what my intent was with this luggage, use it once or twice and toss it. But I think I will have it for quite some time. Having a trip planned to China and North Korea, I bought this four peice set to maximize my luggage space for all the items I planned on purchasing. And though I very rarely like the hand cases that come in luggage sets, this one was great. It was a good size, had good pockets, and was perfect for my tour of North Korea. This product looks good. I have the black set, and the silver accents were enough to differentiate them from everybody else's bags. Each bag has good cinch straps and a detachable vinyl bag for odds and ends. The only wear and tear that this set experienced was one of the Coleman name plates popped off one bag, but all the wheels, zipper pulls and straps are good as new. I am very satisfied with the purchase. By the way, shipping was quick and the product shipped out of California.
