Hello everyone i just wanted to give you a quick review of this great set of luggage. I have now used my luggage on three round trip flights to a couple of the biggest airports in the nation. All i have to say is wow i have not had one problem with this set (red) luggage. Although if i had the chance to do it again i would have purchased the black set due to the scuff marks which are easily seen on the red. The red set is very nice though dont get me wrong you can spot your luggagge easy and fast in the airport. After using scotch gard the new stains have come off really easy. The handling on this luggage is great this set is also very durable i am not one to take very good care of my things yet this set has has lived up to the Coleman name. This set looks just as good if not better than the higher priced luggage but for a quarter of the price you would pay at a retail store. I can not find anything negative to say about this set i hope i have helped you out in your luggage searching. Belive me when i say i have done the research so dont waste your time get this set before it is all gone.

We purchased this luggage set for an 8 day trip to Cancun...but I wanted to wait until we actually used the luggage before reviewing it. Well, we just got back today and I have to say we were very pleased with our purchase. First, it rolls nicely and didn't ever have a tendency to flip over on it's side when pulling it, as some luggage is want to do. Plus it handled the rigors of travel and looked good doing so. We ordered the black set and it was very easy to identify on the luggage carousel due to the gray trim and unusual wheels. And the light weight of the luggage came in very handy, especially the way I pack! I packed the largest piece for my husband's clothes and that included 4 pairs of dress pants, 8 dress shirts, 2 pairs of shoes, an assortment of shorts & T-shirts, etc., not to mention BOTH of our toiletries which can weigh a ton! All of that and it only came to 49 lbs. The next size down was packed with my clothes and things and it only weighed 37.5 lbs. We also used the tote which is a little too large, in that it became a black hole when we were looking inside of it for different things. I wished that the luggage had a nicer liner and that there were I.D. holders on the outside of the bags...but for the price you just can't beat this luggage.

I bought this luggage earlier this year for my international travels. It has held up extremely well through my travels through Europe and Asia. It also has pouches to carry toiletries in each suitcase which was really convenient for leakage. They were large and fit all the stuff I needed for extended stays out of the country. They are very sturdy and tough and all attach together for easy transport through airports and train stations. In fact I'm getting another pair for my fiance as his luggage is one step from falling apart.

I purchased this set of luggage for a recent trip to New York. It really exceeded my expectations. The value was impressive but I didn't realize how much until I actually received the luggage and was able to put it to the test. I was able to pack way more than I had hoped and the luggage was easy to manage in a busy airport. Knowing how the baggage handlers toss bags around, I didn't notice any scuffs, marks or other wear so I am certain I will be able to use this set for many more trips. With that in mind, I cannot emphasize enough that the cost is well worth the investment.

i gotta say that im really surprized with this bags i bought, firast of all cuz i was looking something with good quality and also useful.this bags are amazing the dont weight too much, the are pretty, the last a lot is good quality.im really happy about buying this bags.

We had bought this luggage and at first was very please with it. However, after one round trip plane flight, the zippers started breaking off. We ordered red which gets dirty very quickly. I am leaving this review because when you first get the luggage you will be very happy with it, but after you actually use it, it will fall apart on you. The price seems great if you are able to use it for a few trips, but for one trip, definately not worth it.

These bags are super well designed and very practical. We just got back from taking them on their first trip and they were fantastic. The bags themselves are light, which helps when you are flying and concerned about weight limits, and the pockets were great for keeping things organised. I loved the fact that even the pocket in the top flap had a belt to keep things from sliding around. And the snap out plastic toiletries bags in each suitcase were also super useful. The fabric seems sturdy and the bags rolled easily. Hard to believe the price we paid for them!

We went to CA this September, we used the big case and the small carry on, the carry on was pretty good, and it did fit a lot of stuff. the big luggage held up the abuse of the air plane cargo, it came out dirty with black marks on it, but after all my wife cleaned it up and it looked as good as new. The only disadvantage is that the Red Color gets dirty very quickly.....other than that it is great, oh also just in-case you didn't know Colman is made by Traveler's Choice.

I sent this to my sister as a wedding present and they took it on their honeymoon to Hawaii. They were so happy with the luggage. THey loved how the four pieces fit inside eachother for storage as they live in a small apartment. They enjoyed the room for packing and the expandable zipper that gives more space in the suitcases. They said being red it makes it easy to spot going down the luggage belt.

My wife and I each got a set of this luggage for our wedding and subsequent honeymoon (hers red, mine black). We gave this luggage a trial by fire, and one of the bags did not hold up well at all.The large black pullman suffered a broken-off wheel during the first leg of our three-week trip. The wheels are obviously a weak point and design flaw, as all the bags exhibited sagging wheels and white "stress lines" in the plastic where the wheel mounts. Our bags were not overloaded, and even then the wheels on all the bags were angled in at the top quite severely. This same bag also blew out its zipper on the last leg of the trip, needing some major finagling to get it closed, and requiring pliers to re-open it once home. Again, it was far from overloaded or overstuffed, and failed anyway. By the end of our trip consisting of four major flight legs and one cruise, this bag was completely destoyed and unusable. The other seven bags still have life left, but are obviously suffering from major fatigue and stress cracks in the wheel attachment area. A decent value for the price, I would only reccommend this set of luggage for light to moderate use, and then only when on sale. When shopping for a 4 piece set of luggage, I'm looking for something that is going to last me for a while. This set is not going to last- it's a "throw away" set that will get you by until you can afford something nicer. If I could do it differently, I'd save up and get something that will hold up; something with stronger materials in critical areas. But, you get what you pay for, and for the price I paid it did pretty well. I'll post another review when I try out their warranty policy. ;)

I just got these bags for a two week trip to Spain. They worked out really well. You can fit a lot in them and they have a handy plastic sleeve on the inside so that your liquids won't spill all over your bag. They rolled very well over numerous kinds of terrain also. I think these were a really great deal.

I have not had the chance to actually use the luggage and will not until October. I did check out the set when I received it and noticed that the largest piece had some sort of black stain on the inside on the nylon lining and also on the largest and next largest piece the expandable zippers were very hard to unzip about an inch from the start of the zipper. If you work your finger into the backside of the zippers and support the zipper just a little and then unzip, the zippers are workable....not easily but still workable. Other than that it looks like a sturdy set of luggage but can not be sure until the first time it goes through anline handling. I got the set in red just so it would be easier to see on the baggage carosel and the color is nice but with so many luggage pieces red these days, I'm not sure that the red color will be helpful. At this point, I am pleased with the purchase.

This is a great deal for this luggage. My husband and son were going on a trip and our old luggage had seen better days so we were looking on another website and found this set for $40 more! We just got back from our trip which inclued 2 plane rides and car rides/hotels and they did great! TONS of room for a family of 3 who over packed for 6 day vaca...Would recommend!

I bought this set to replace a very cheaply made set of similar size which I've used for a few years. As I hoped, this set seems considerably better made and more durable, although already there is a small frayed location where the airline baggage handlers scraped a bit of one of the edges.One of my hopes for this luggage (I bought the black) was that the nonrectangular gray frame visible on the front would make it a bit distinctive from all the other black luggage. This turns out to be true, but is less helpful when the baggage people don't place it face up.One modest disappointment is the wheels. When the luggage is heavily loaded, it does not roll quite so easily on the wheels as I had hoped. In particular, pushing it backwards seems to take extra effort. There appears to be remarkably little clearance between the bottom of luggage and the ground when one has it at the usual angle. This means that on a soft surface such as a carpet or light gravel, there will be a little extra movement resistance from very light scraping.Overall I would call this serviceable luggage, which was a good value at the overstock.com price. I am glad I did not pay a lot more for it.

After shopping locally and online for a decently priced, well constructed luggage set I settled on the black Coleman set. I chose black since it would hide the dark marks left from airport luggage conveyors and dirty cargo holds in planes. The description and the Coleman brand were factors influencing my purchase. The gray colored panels set the luggage apart from everyone else's black luggage. This set was purchased as a wedding gift. It just returned from the Hawaiian honeymoon trip in excellent shape and should provide several years of use (and abuse). This luggage is a very good value for the price.

The luggage set was delivered in good condition, very light weight and it appears durable. Don't really know how durable until we use it for our up coming trip.
