I also purchased the matching 30" roller. We took a trip which invoved the luggage being handled four times. It came through very well except one zipper pull tab on the large bag was lost. I just replaced it with a tab not used very much from a different part of the suitcase. Overall the luggage came through wonderfully, and it looks great too. It stands up well (unless a full backpack is attached.) I really believe this is top quality luggage and I am happy with the purchase.

I purchased this Coleman bag in Feb. This bag is quite amazing. It is very light. It is shaped properly for plane with short overhead compartments. The book style opening with zipper is great. The detachable backpack is great for my mac book and has lots of pockets. Great for 3-4 day trips.

The description of this bag was deceptive. It sounded like it was a large back pack on wheels that would also double as a carry on. The back pack part is small and detaches from a suitcase. The detached back pack is the right size for a carry on, but the suitcase part is not. I stopped using it because I didn't want to be wheeling around luggage on campus; a back pack on wheels was all I was looking for. It's a nice set if you want a suitcase.
