    • Perfect for those long multi-stop trips

      This 2 piece pack was everything it was advertised to be and more. The outer casing is durable with quality reinforced stitching. The handles glide easily up and done and are easy to use. I purchased it for an extensive multi country trip and wanted something lightweight, easy to spot in an airport or train station and something that would stand up to a beating. I returned with the luggage looking almost new and have use it exclusively for other trips all of them international. I don't use the backpack as it is not very big and a bit ackward to zip onto the main luggage. I also haven't used the backpack straps on the main luggage, which is why I bought it in the first place. The wheels (even though ony 2 of them) are good enough to get around a city, airport or train station. The bag is between the checked luggage and carry on size which is OK. Empty, it is one of the lightest bags I've tested.

      I bought this for my Fiance' as he was traveling abroad and needed something that was easy to travel with. It's a nice size and the concept is fantastic. The material is pretty cheap and flimsy but it does the trick. The backpack looks small upon arrival but we were able to fit a extra set of clothing, laptop, toiletries, i-pod, chargers, and several other miscellaneous items in the backpack comfortably. It was very surprising how much it actually held. If you're looking for "high-quality" then this isn't for you, but if you want something with this concept and you're okay if it gets damaged along the way then it's perfect!

      The Coleman bags worked very well for the intended use. The zippers worked easily to attach and remove the day pack. the back straps were easily accessible and easy to return to store when not in use.The two together worked great for European rail travel and packing. from place to place.The only draw back was the larger bag needed to be checked and the day bag was a bit small. if the day bag was made larger and the main smaller then they could have met the airline carry on and and personal bag allowances and kept the same overall space. thus avoiding the risk of lost bags and time in the airports waiting for bags. (this is not the bags fault but would be a selling point if the bag was smaller)I would recommend Coleman line of bags but check size of your airline closely for a European vacation.
