This is wonderful as a carry on. I would not want it thrown around as the back is plastic case . Perfect for weekend travel since it has the garment bag built in.

As road warrior, I needed a quick replacement. This bag had much stronger 360 wheels than previous bags I tested. Although there are no outside pockets for quick access to travel liquids, it comes with a durable plastic pouch with a red ribbon tied to it. I was able to hang the ribbon outside the bag which helped open/pull the plastic bag out during security time. The exterior is very fun and colorful, which attracted me to this bag. Heys makes a similar exterior, but it is triple in cost. I was worried it was a bit juvenile, but I received compliments at the airport and never lost sight of it! :-)

I used this bag on one trip, had to gate check as regional airline overhead too small for this bag. Two pairs of size 12 mens shoes pretty much filled the bottom half of the bag. Was able to squeeze in 3 tshirts, socks and underwear. Hung one suit with shirt and pants and had to press all three when I reached my destination. And the wire frame popped through one of the corners of the suit bag on the return trip. I have filed a claim with Traveler's Choice and will post the results. I think putting the suit in a plastic bag first may have helped. Not a good bag for a week long trip in my opinion.

It did have a slight plastic smell when I first took the Hybrid out of the box. Perfect size for a carry on.

I got the small carry-on size. The suitcase was smaller than I expected but it is quite deep, so it's able to accommodate quite a bit of clothes, toiletries, etc. assuming all you need to pack is a day or so worth of clothing. Note to purchasers: The plastic case is very thin... so far I've never had to check-in the carry-on, but if I ever did, I wouldn't be surprised if the casing gets damaged/punctured. Also, the wheels don't swivel, I suppose a spinner suitcase is not absolutely necessary for such a small suitcase but had I known that up front, I may not have purchased the suitcase.

DO allow for at least 14 days for your luggage to arrive if you are planning a trip. I used plastic cleaners bags on each item in the garment section and I had no wrinkles. Don't know if it would fit in overhead b/c the plane's bins were too small for the luggage. It was a direct flight so I just checked it. It got thrown around some and still looked new. The green is an unusual color and really stands out. Would have liked to have a built in name tag thingy. Other than that, no complaints.

DISTRESSED NOT! I was leaving for Ecuador a few days after it arrived, so I had no time to return itI worked on distressing it myself ,a bit of a hassle but I got rid of the ugli shine and I like the result now. The picture shows the horrible shininess,so I guess I knew what I was in for.I used bad fume goo off.and a plastic floor scrubber.I like everything about it now.I watched TV while I hand buffed away the shine.Underneath,is a very nice leather.I guess I'm not happy unless I'm miserable.

loved the size, hated the smell. left it open for weeks before needing it and it was still smelling like industrial plastic. so i oversprayed it was Lancome Poeme a bit too much and had to put in a cotton blanket to absorb the extra perfume, but that fixed the problem just fine and i took it on my first rolling carryon trip just the other day and it was great. i don't know how i ever lived without a rolling carryon suitcase. now, i'll never have to again.

I have an older xcase. The handle on that one curves so you are less inclined to kick your luggage as you walk. This one is just straight. My old one also opens as the picture shows, BUT this one opens book style instead. The PICTURE IS WRONG. I always found the top openning convenient so I could open it while seated in the airport to get small things out of the top. The openning on this one doesn't allow that as easily. Also the shape is slightly different. The older model was bottom heavy, so it sticks out maybe 1/2in more than this new model. I'm wondering if it will hold less than my old model. Also, the construction made me think this was some cheap chinese knockoff. as the carry handle was mounted crooked, and all sorts of plastic shavings from manufacturing are hanging out. I had to smooth the wheel with a scissor as they had lots of manufacturing burrs left on them. Maybe Heys is just not the brand they used to be. I'm disappointed, but I have no time to order another suitcase... Hope it doesn't fall apart on me...

I was expecting so much more from all the great reviews. The leather looks like cheap plastic, the zippers all get stuck and are difficult to zip. The case is difficult to pull. I bought the suitcase for my husband to carry on his flights but the first trip with this case he ended up checking his luggage because it was to much hassle to pull. i was very disappointed in this product.

I purchased 2 of these for a trip to The Netherlands last summer. They held 2 weeks worth of clothes, shoes, makeup, gifts for family, toiletries, etc. I like the added security of the plastic zip pocket for my liquids...a little added insurance. These roll VERY easy. We drug them through Chicago O'Hare airport, Schipohl in Amsterdam, & several streets in between. They were easy & light enough (even packed) to pick up to hop on the train, subway, bus, trunk of our van. The colors are outstanding!! They are bright & VERY easy to spot in a crowd! Which made following my husband through Amsterdam easy! You will receive many compliments on them! We have the purple & the orange. I will be odering one in lime for my daughters trip with us this summer. The handle slides up & down with ease & stays locked in place. I would highly recommend this carry on to anyone looking for one.

The luggage arrived within a few days, free of defects. The cover is fairly hard, though not Avengers hard. The cover is made of a plastic-y material that does scratch easily. It's on the smaller side, but it is perfect for international travel. It is light; lighter than the "light-weight" soft luggage types. It rolls smooth, though the handle seems a tad bit flimsy. Overall, a good quality luggage for the price.

I purchased this suitcase for my 9-year old daughter as a Christmas present but gave it to her early because she was going on a trip. She loves it, and I'm pretty impressed myself. It is very lightweight and the spinner wheels work well. What wasn't apparent to me in the photos is that one side is fully covered by a zippered divider that has three pouches on the outside to organize smal items. The divider is very useful. The one less-than-perfect thing I would say about this suitcase is that the pull-up handle mechanism feels a bit less than sturdy, and has only one height, which is fine for an adult but a tad tall for a child. That being said, I'm pleased with the purchase. The suitcase arrived promptly. It was in a sturdy box and also covered with a contact-plastic wrap to protect the finish.

The suitcase is a good value for the money. It works well as a carry on and fit into the overhead compartment - although it was a tight fit. It rolls really well on 2 wheels or on 4 wheels. Only negative - and this is minor is that the bonus 3 oz carry on bag for security had a broken zipper on it. But clear plastic bags are only pennies. I would recommend this to friends and am very happy with the quality of the product.

I have not yet traveled with this piece, so this is not a fair review. But I wanted to note that the so called "hard shell" is really not that hard. It is very thin plastic and you can push it in with one finger - carry on only .I had planned on using this to support my laptop case and wheeling it through the airport, so I would not have to lug the laptop. Not sure if this will actually support an average weight laptop case without caving. It does have good quality wheels though...

What a great carry-on...the lightist weight one I found after a lot of research. It was also less expensive here than I saw at any competitors. A great size, easy to wheel and the weight allows me to pack more to carry on. I thought the outside had some scratches and then realized that Heys put a sheet of removable protective plastic on the outside of the case. I've already recommended this to a friend planning a trip!!

The color is great, space is great, but the wheels on this thing is plastic cheap. It would get stuck or not roll smoothly.

I bought six of these cases (one for each member of the family). It's a great product with the exception oif the zipper design. We went on one trip via plane and carried on the luggage. If the case is packed full, or slightly stressed, the stitching can pull away from the molded case. While the outside of the case is durable plastic, it closes by means of a zipper adhered to the plastic shell. This zipper is "stitched" rather than welded (for lack of a better term) to the shell presenting the opportunity for failure which one of the six cases experienced. I would much rather see a more mechanical method of closure for long-term durability.

Luggage is easy to transport. Handle on the side makes it easy to lift into a vehicle. Zippers worked well. More than enough room for a 3 day weekend trip. Only reason I did not give 5 stars was that when it came the odor of the interior plastic was bad. Had to leave it outside to air out and then put some cedar chips in it to keep a nice smell inside.

it smells. I bought two, one for each son. I got tired of buying the cheap travel kid bags, so I thought I'd bump them up to an actual suitcase that can go on the airplane. It's really wonderful, and it seems like it will be durable. Of course, it hasn't seen the airplane yet, but I'm hopeful. HOWEVER, and really, it's a bigger however than I would have thought, it stinks like gas. We've had a few toys with this smell, and I think it's either cheap plastic or cheap rubber or something along those lines. I have left them outside overnight to no avail. I would give the product all 5 stars if it didn't stink so much.

I purchased this suitcase for a weekend getaway. It's perfect to use on the airline. It's light to carry and easy to maneuver. I tend to roll my clothes up to make room for more space and I found that to work well with this suitcase. I would not recommend this for those who over pack. I bought more clothes and stuff from the trip that were impossible to fit in it. I do plan on purchasing the larger version of this brand. Overstock also sent the product very quickly and in top condition. It was sent in a plastic covering in a box without any defects or scratches.
