We really liked the price for such a nice suitcase. This is an upgrade from our old luggage with the spinner wheels. Feel like a flight attendnat with AA insignia all over the suit case.

I finally have a suit case that is stylish, easy to maneuver, holds a weeks worth of clothing and 3 sets of shoes and it fits in the carry on bin. Unbelievable! I love this bag. The rest of my family was so jealous, I had the best suitcase. . . I will be buying one for everyone else.

Perfect carry-on luggage and a great price. At least as good as similar luggage costing 3-4 times as much.Sturdy, and even has a garment sleave in case you are traveling with a suit. Has plenty of side pockets. Is sturdy and durable and as big as it can be while still being carry-on size. The description is accurate. My favorite part was the price....

I bought this luggage for my husband who travels a lot and wanted to have a small suitcase that would be suited for carry-on. He was very happy with it; it is light yet durable and looks great too! we got the silver option. The handle extends long enough to be good for his height (5'10""). And with Overstock prices, you cant beat it! Highly recommend.

I was expecting so much more from all the great reviews. The leather looks like cheap plastic, the zippers all get stuck and are difficult to zip. The case is difficult to pull. I bought the suitcase for my husband to carry on his flights but the first trip with this case he ended up checking his luggage because it was to much hassle to pull. i was very disappointed in this product.

I bought this carry-on for our trip to Mexico- The size is perfect as I packed an extra set of clothes, bathing suits included, and toiletries for 4 people in case our luggage was lost. The luggage did well on the way there, on the way back, less weight than going, the leather strap that you carry the bag with came off- there was no way of putting it back on. Yes, there is a side handle to carry it with which is why we are not returning it (did not want to accrue S & H costs) but the design is poor. The rivets are weak and do not go all the way through the bag itself. The bag looks good, though.

I bought this carry on as a replacement to my the one I have had for years (Samsonite). I wanted an upright carry on that had "spinners" to allow me to maneuver swiftly through the airport. Although this suitcase is close to the same size as my existing luggage, it does not seem to hold as many clothes. I have enough room for about 3 days of clothing for this bag versus a full week with my other. The quality of the bag is decent but I doubt it will stand the test of time. I was very interested in having a bag with spinners but these spinners are too close to the ground (from bag to floor) and seem to collect debris. I had nothing but trouble trying to "spin" this item through the airport as it froze up on most hard surfaces and with carpet, I ended up dragging it. I gave this bag to my husband who travels 1-2 times per year as it is not for the frequent business traveler.

Bought this in solid black for my husband and the zebra print for me, we look so sharp together!! These were purchased strictly for carry-on use and trips by automobile. It's true that some of the clothes might end up at the bottom of the case when it's stood upright (if not entirely packed). I suggest ordering some packing cubes to solve that problem. I don't know how easily it is to scratch yet as per some reviews state. That's one reason why I bought the solid black for my husband, he's not as easy on luggage as am. It should hold enought clothes for a 3 day weekend. However if you are an organized packer like myself, you can easily pack for a week.

I was so pleased when I received this carry-on. It is very cute, and easily picked out among other luggage. I had a couple of compliments on it when we first arrived at the airport. However, in the long haul, running through airports and going up and down escalators it was a real pain. The handle is faulty, and will only stay in a position that makes it difficult to get on a small step, like an escalator, safely. The dang thing almost got away from me several times during airport transfers! Since the handle will only lock so the case is in an upright position, you are taking up more space than you need and have to carry the bag into the plane instead of using the wheels which was annoying. I'm going to give it to one of my daughters for over night stays. I refuse to take this thing on a long trip again!

I haven't had new luggage in 11 years since I was an exchange student and I have struggled with purchasing new luggage because I never found just what I wanted. Or I bought it used it once and it broke! It was even harder to shop online, BUT... When these came in the mail yesterday I was blown away! The quality looks amazing, the hybrid style looks very durable! I was waiting to receive them to decide if I wanted a larger one to check as well and I was thrilled to order the 25" last night! I can't wait to use this luggage in my travels over the next few months, the plum is so sharp and my boyfriend loved his orange carry-on. It's great to have his and hers luggage in the same style, but different colors. Also the inside is so organized and I love the zippered mesh pockets! I will re-post if there are any issues in my travels, but right now I can't wait to get on a plane with these bags! :) I will say though in terms of price, I was surprise that the 25" cost the same as a carry on... We spent $240 on two carry on bags and a 25". We (as with many people) didn't need two large checked bags so buying the set for a slightly cheaper price didn't make sense. We needed two carry-on bags and one checked bag at least to match my carry-on, maybe another in the future to match his. I was surprised by the cost being the same, but am thrilled to own this luggage! Love the hybrid style and I'm glad I didn't buy a full hard-case suit case!

We finally left for our trip to disney, and had the chance to try out our new luggage. We had two of the 27 inch suitcases that we checked, and a 21 inch carry on. I tend to always take way more "stuff" than I need, and these cases held so much I had room left over. On the way home they were packed with souvenirs to the point I had to just about sit on them to close. Because they are hard even all the breakables such as wine glasses traveled without a problem. We have had many suitcases not survive the baggage handlers, with broken zippers and actual tears in the canvas, these bags held up very well to the abuse with only one minor scratch. They were easy to wheel on both bare floors and carpeted, and the handles on the sides made picking them up easy. They were lightweight when empty, and the carry on fit easily into the overhead compartment. Thank you for a great product. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this for my husband when he was going on a short business trip. It's the same model carry-on that I bought several years ago from a luggage store. I've traveled with it quite a bit, have carried it on planes, checked it at the airport and it has held up beautifully. After receiving the one I bought from Overstock I wonder if Heys has more than one manufacturing site or maybe the quality has just gone downhill. The case wasn't a hard shell which sort of defeats the point of buying it. It was flimsy. It also scratched easily. The case was already marked up by the time he got to the airport. If it got scratched in a cab imagine what it would look like after being stowed in the bottom of a plane. The handle, when extended, was wobbly. There wasn't time to return it so off my husband went. The suitcase was fine on the first leg of his trip. However, when he was coming home the handle broke in the airport. He didn't check the bag--not that it matters since it shouldn't break after using it one time. To sum it up succinctly...don't waste your money. Overstock was very accommodating and gave us a full refund but save yourself the hassle by skipping this product.

I was quite disappointed with these suitcases. I read several reviews here on Overstock so I was expecting a better quality product. I ordered 3 of these carry-on size suit cases (one blue, two pink). As soon as I pulled the first one out of the box today and tried to extend the handle for rolling the unit I was concerned. It wasn't latching properly and moved up and down on one side. I fiddled w/ it a bit and it finally latched but at that point I was already concerned with the longevity. I pulled out the remaining two from their boxes and one of those had the same issue only on the other side. Needless to say I have asked for a return due to manufactures defect and am returning all 3 units. Although I was unhappy w/ the quality of the units Overstock was great about the return and had the return shipping labels sent to me with-in 10 minutes of calling. Hopefully i will find something soon as I need them for a international trip next week.

My son (age 5) picked this out for his first suitcase. It is a beautiful shade of red. On the first trip it got scratched by the airlines, but what's new?

I think this is a great product for the price. I was a little disapointed by the inside due to the lack of pockets and low quality material lining, but overall I think this is a great bag. Lugage is one of those things that you don't want to spend the money on because it is only a means to get your belonging from point A to point B, so why does it have to be so expensive? This suitcase is great because it really seems very durable and something that will hold up for years to come.

Suitcase a kind of large-they checked it at the gate both times. Big for a carry on. Very hard to navigate down an aisle in a plane-next time will opt for a smaller case to carry on.

There are some very obvious differences between hardside luggage and softside luggage. But there are also a lot of more subtle differences, and knowing all the differences between the two types of luggage can help you find a luggage set that is right for you and makes your travels easier. Materials: Hardside luggage is usually made of aluminum or polycarbonates. They are chosen because they have a good strength-to-weight ratio. Softside luggage is made of a variety of materials, including vinyl, cotton, polyester, leather and other durable materials. These materials are chosen because they are lightweight, flexible and durable. Features: The features offered on softside and hardside luggage are nearly identical. They both often offer wheels and extendable handles for convenience when carrying the luggage. Inside, they can have an array of pockets for holding toiletries or preventing clothes from getting wrinkled. What can be different is that softside luggage typically has several pockets that are accessible without opening the suitcase. Also, softside luggage almost always uses zippers to hold it close, but hardside luggage will have some type of latch to secure it. Price: Many factors determine the cost of luggage; one of which is the materials it is made of, but features, size, brand and other factors play a part as well. Not all hard materials are the same and not all soft materials are the same, but on average, the initial cost of hardside luggage is going to be higher than the initial cost of comparable softside luggage. One thing to consider though is value. If you are a frequent flyer, the initial cost of hardside luggage might be offset by its longevity. Use: If you are someone who keeps their luggage close to them and will only take a carry-on with you, the lightweight, flexibility of softside luggage might be better for you. The rigid shape of a hardside case doesn't always conform to the shape of an overhead bin; however, if you like to check your bags, hardside luggage is less likely to be damaged when thrown around in the holding area and will keep its contents from getting crushed when another bag gets thrown on top of it. Bottom line: When it comes down to it, both softside luggage and hardside luggage do the same basic thing. But the choice is about you and what you want. Do you want something that is incredibly durable and will protect everything inside of it? Or would you rather have luggage that is more flexible and lightweight? Packing for a cruise is not quite the same as packing for a hotel stay. While you may spend seven days on a cruise and need the same amount of clothing as you would need for a land-based vacation, you simply cannot pack for a cruise in the same way as you would for a trip to the mountains or beach. The reason for this is that the average cruise ship cabin is going to have about half the square footage as the average hotel room. Your luggage choice needs to reflect this confined space.
